Diaw playing like he does against the Spurs..
But all three of those are good-to-very-good defenders. Mohammed moves like his feet are in cement blocks.
Diaw playing like he does against the Spurs..
ORL has opened this up a bit. Felton has to hold his own if the Cats want to survive.
Orlando is extremely dangerous when Lewis shows up..
I like Charlotte's strategy though..Howard has mental issues when teams commit a lot of hard fouls on him, it gets in his head..he usually becomes overly aggressive..
VC struggling with his shot, needs to pick it up..
I doubt they woiin Game One . LB will adjust before Game 2 and that will be a TIGHT game.
LOL I love when NBA refs wait to see if the shot goes in before they make the call..
Of course the 1st time playoff guys will suck ...Felton, Wallace but the vets l Sjazx and Diaw need to play
I would let Tytrus get some time ....
Charlotte is the best defensive team in the league and one that truly values possessions - 2 important factors in playoff basketball. They got the worst possible top seed, I'd like their chances way more against any other team, including Cleveland (that has lots of trouble dealing with Charlotte's combination of big guards + mobile bigs). Chandler looked good in the games I saw, he's the only Bobcats player able to defend Howard 1x1... is he in the shape necessary to play 30mpg for the course of a series? Charlotte is excellent being aggressive with double teams (Carter must be ready to escape from plenty of flash doubles) and forcing teams to go the pick'n'roll or clearouts later in the clock.
The biggest problem for the Bobcats is on the other end though... maybe if they're able to force Howard to come outside to defend the pick'n'roll. I don't trust their guards to drive on him though.
Assuming Chandler can play, the key matchup to me is Diaw vs. Lewis. Diaw is going to be the key to avoid Charlotte from going through extremely prolonged scoring droughts.
Howard is just unfair defensively..
I guess if Ewing got away with traveling on his one-two-three hopstep to the lane Howard can too.
6 blocks already for Dwight. What a beast.
Jackson's become a lot better passer over the past four or five years.
So far this first quarter of offciating looks like the worse so far in the playoffs.
refs not allowing the cats to play their games, lol cats centers
How's that? Jumping off the bench and getting suspended???![]()
Nice double team on Dwight there, really threw him off.
