Oh yeah...Jeff Van Gundy was talking about how the pulls overachieved this year due to their lack of outside touch this season.

They just don't have enough fire power.

Man I hate the Cavs and their antics. The Q is a freaking party house. Some team needs to shut them up again.

Hopefully, if Orlando and Cavs face again, Vince gets his head out of his ass.
You're not alone....the world would end if they won a le. I hope Vince wakes up as the playoffs roll on.

Until LeBron starts winning the rings he can barely be in the discussion. If you think LBJ is a freak, then look at the things Wilt did...100 points, 55 boards come to mind.

The guy should be in the discussion of greatest player ever, but you know why he isn't? Bill Russell always beat him.

Can't wait for this y Cavs team to get a wakeup call again. They are so arrogant for never having won a championship before.

As long as LA fans don't act like tools I would love for the Lakers to beat the Cavs.

Kobe can be a , but I respect him so much more than LeBron. If those 2 teams face I hope Kobe hits 4 game winner's in LBJ's eyes.

I honestly don't care who wins...as long as it's not the Cavaliers.

This is true, but they would've likely still been traded. Gordon may be a bit overpaid, but he was worth it to the Bulls imo for games like tonight.
Oh, I think they made the right decision to trade them. Maybe I'd have kept Thomas and pay whatever to dump Hinrich instead, but getting the cap space is certainly more valuable than them. And yes, having Gordon would be even better - but I do think he's overpaid and wouldn't be such a great fit in their team.

Well, Jordan retired in 1998 (the Wizards Jordan doesn't matter). That's 12 years ago. There's a good chance that younger crowd, 15-22 years old, have never seen nothing remotely close to LeBron James.
Whatever. Tmac had some moments eerily similar not saying he is = of LBJ bbut to say NO ONE has had similar games is silly.

Lebron is special and his skill level for his size is spectacular. but no where close to Mj's or kobe's

The problem the Cavs have is that Shaq+Z+Jamison = bad defence.

By the way, Gordon would be a great fit in Portland, next to Roy. That would be a fantastic backcourt: Gordon+Roy+Batum.

The team has become more team-oriented overall since Ben departure, so the fit would be a bit different than it was last year as you mentioned. But they could really use his one-on-one scoring right now. The Cavs bogged down on Rose in the 4th and no one else seemed to get going.

It's asking a lot of a 6'9", 260-pound player to have the skill-set of two pantheon-level guards. Bird is the standard for LeBron to live up to, not MJ or Kobe.

Lebron just keeps getting better every year. Its scary. He legit has potential to become the best ever if he keeps improving and and starts winning rings. Its amazing watching him play basketball.

    Saying that, him.

AAAAAAAMEN!!! Old, slow, and broken down. As Joe just mentioned, Hickson needs to be out there. It's a prime example of NOT playing a guy because of the size of his contract....there's no reason to bench him.

I disagree; I'd use this series to give Shaq+Jamison time to gel on the defensive end. Hickson may be younger but he's much better offensively than defensively; while I agree he'd make more sense in this series vs. the Bulls, I think some guys the Cavs will face in the following rounds would take advantage of him. If the Cavs don't improve Shaq+Jamison chemistry on the defensive end, they can be in trouble later on.

You know, in a way i'm glad the whole "best player" neverending debate is over. Gives way to much more interesting and productive discussion.

Not here, of course, I haven't seen "productive" discussion here in ages.

But everywhere else, it seems to have made things more amicable between fans.

It's the only argument that Kobe homers can fall back on in the comparison between James and Kobe, and Jordan as well (heard many Kobe homers tout the oft repeated quote by Phil Jackson that "Kobe's more skilled than MJ").

Who gives a about skill-set? All that matters is getting the ball in the basket, regardless of how you do it. KG is more "skilled" than a prime Shaq, but no one in their right mind would take Garnett over Shaq.

In my mind if you have one weapon, which is you're only weapon, that's 20 times more efficient than another player's combined arsenal, you're a better basketball player.

Once James win the le this year and surpasses everything Kobe's ever done as a number one option (two straight regular season MVPs, winning the MVP, the championship and Finals MVP in the same year, which every other top-ten all-time players has done besides Robertson and Wilt, oh and Kobe, who I guess is in the top-ten by default) we can finally end this debate and stick Kobe where he belongs.

Alonside the one hit wonders like Wade, Garnett, Rick Barry, Bill Walton, etc.

They're all still essentially trees out there, whereas Hickson is a live, athletic body and the team plays better with him and AV on the floor. I can see the overall premise for your point, particularly with Shaq being out for so long and just coming back and the Bulls not presenting a real threat, but moving forward I think you go with what makes your team better overall.

They could use Hickson in the pick-and-roll with LeBron and attack the basket against this team too. Hickson couldn't play worse defense than Z anyway. Z's value is that he does a decent job on Gasol and terrorizes Al Horford. Other than that he's pretty much an ornament this point.

I'm just saying that the kids who are young and missed Bulls' Jordan have never seen a player so extraordinary as LeBron.

I think LeBron is a way more impressive player than guys like McGrady or Kobe ever were.

Agree. But KillaKobe (a good Lakers fan mind you) is right, he needs rings. The league should be mighty thankful he was drafted to a team that had very little in the way of talent. Say if Pistons got the number one that year, Lebron would probably be working on his 5th ring.
