before my sis died she had an acquaintance that was a realtor that dropped by to "visit"...she just happened to bring brochures etc. for her business and also brought another woman with her to make suggestions for "staging" the house for the sale. I thanked them for visiting but told them my sis was not legally able to enter into any agreements and that nothing would be done with the condo till she was gone.
I just received a "staging report" and a bill for $200 from the other lady. It was printed on her stationary but it was just a generic "to do" list of recommendations like you could find in the real estate section of the Sunday paper.
When I reminder her that I had not hired her to do a staging report she told me that my sister wanted one and she seemed "mentally OK" when they discussed it. She very angrily told me that "she was a professional" and she "expected to get paid for her work". This was after she earlier told me just how much she had loved my sister and how long they had been "friends".
LOL. I thanked her for visiting my sister in her last days since they had been friends for so long and suggested she talk to the realtor about her $200 since I sure as didn't hire her.
I don't think she likes me.

Sorry about your sister CC…She was lucky to have you…I hope that there are a few bucks left over from her estate so you can buy yourself a quality Sears Ted Williams shotgun for your efforts…
Actually, at her wishes anything I can scrimp/save out of the estate will be donated to charity with the general instructions that the funds be used to empower/assist needy women.

Good point. I wonder if a roll in the hay with a high class hooker would also qualify?
Would you be able to do that with the debt?
I think I'll take the 5th on that one. Lets just say the condo was the only visible asset.

At most he should do that. Why help credit card companies when all they want to do is take money out of your pocket. Raising a dying persons' rates knowing they don't have the income to pay even the minimums? Seriously, can these people be any more evil? You'd have to be completely heartless, lack all ruth, and be without a soul to hit these people when they are down and dying. It's like health insurance claims people... You KNOW they LOVE denying people their benefits and they do it with a smile on their face.
