no!
Are you happy with your first round pick?
Also I would really like to hear from a Broncos fan![]()
I wanted Bulaga, but Pouncey's still a solid pick imo for Pitt. The key now is filling up the holes in the secondary - dunno what they'll do there.
I wanted Earl Thomas at 12 for the Dolphins, but I should have known the Tuna would trade it away for more picks, I really dont know anything about the guy we got from Penn State DT Jared Odrick.
Jerry Hughes is a solid pick for the Colts at 31. Needed a third rusher pretty bad, it was obvious in the SB that the Colts D pretty much sucks if they aren't getting pressure on the QB. Still need a LT. Polian probably trades up tonight to take Charles Brown.
Loved that the Lions didn't do anything stupid and just took Suh. Wasn't super excited about Jahvid Best initially, but I'm cool with him now. I'm happy as a Lions fan.
We traded our pick to Denver for 3 of their picks. I guess McDaniel was really high on Tebow.
The Redskins would have had to have really tried to have blown the number four pick. I was fairly certain they were going to pick Russell Okung but I also knew they were interested in Trent Williams as well. Either way it was an excellent selection. Williams should be a solid stalwart on the O-line for years to come ala Samuels/Jansen.
All I know is he is a really big kid and is very strong against the run, hopefully he can takeover at NT this season..I am hoping that kindle will fall to the phins with the new 2nd rd pick from the hawks.
Im thinking either Sergio Kindle or Taylor Mays.

Jared Odrick by cbssports.com
Pass rush: Has good height, strength, agility and length to be a consistent penetrator. Bowled over many college linemen with his bull rush and seems to be in motion with the snap of the ball. Has some shiftiness and is able to penetrate with a swim or an inside-out move when blocked one-on-one. Uses his hands to discard linemen. Disrupts passing lanes with his long arms and big hands, keeping his eyes in the backfield. Can accelerate to the quarterback after initial contact but does not have elite quickness or change-of-direction ability to come back and make the sack or chase down plays in the backfield.
Run defense: Usually holds his ground inside or pushes back against double-teams. Disengages from blocks to get back into the play and has made stops four or five yards downfield. Not quick enough laterally, but uses his strength to move down the line while engaged on stretch plays. Must be more aware of protecting his knees from cut blocks.
Explosion: Good quickness and pop off the snap. Able to knock his man back a step or two into the pocket. Improved his get-off as a senior playing the three-technique and is able to consistently penetrate from that spot.
Strength: Brute strength makes him a tough assignment in pass protection for college linemen. Stacks his man and rips off in either direction to fill a hole. Pushes the pocket as a pass rusher, even when double-teamed. Plays tall but controls the line on almost every snap when straight-up or doubled.
Tackling: Solid wrap tackler inside because of his strength and length at the point. Lacks the change-of-direction ability to regularly rein in elusive ballcarriers or make plays from behind. His height also prevents him from consistently breaking down in space.
Intangibles: Work ethic and consistency of effort have been questioned in the past, but he appeared to turn a corner in 2009. Cited for disorderly conduct and fined for a February 2009 early morning fight in downtown State College.
The Cardinals now have a very good (on paper) front with Pro-bowler in Dockett, Williams and up-n-comer Campbell as starters and Watson and Branch as primary backups and some youngsters still developing.
Everyone is saying they got a great value pick, and I like that they are taking a defensive player, as I think there are still more questions on defense than on offense.
HOWEVER, if the Cardinals, who have three picks today, don't end up with one O-Line prospect and one CB prospect, then I'll be upset. I'd like OL in 2nd, CB and QB with their 3rds.
can't complain, especially if they go to a 3-4 (which they need to with the types of LBs and DL they have). hopefully they work on the trenches in the next few rounds.
Cable said not going 3-4. He said we could see some 3-4 sets. Sounds like some stuff the Ravens run.
As a Bronco fan, I don't have any feelings after thinking about it..I'll see how the rest of the draft goes..
I love the Thomas pick, I prefer him over Bryant..
Tebow is the obvious WC pick..I was completely against picking him and I still am, but I'll give him a chance..the positive about Tebow is that he should make the Broncos a lot of money with his fame, which helps considering Pat Bowlen is rumored to be in financial trouble..
I'm also usually against guys that push their religion on people, but Tebow seems like a genuinely good guy..he's a hard worker..the NFL won't let the Broncos fly him in and stay for a week because it's too early or something(I don't know the exact rule), so Tebow is putting up his own $ to get the coaches hotel reservations so they can meet up and start working together ASAP..good to see some hard work already..
Broncos still have serious holes in the middle of the offensive line and possibly at linebacker, especially if something isn't worked out with Doom..we'll see if it's addressed during these next few rounds..
I fully understand everybody criticizing and laughing at the Broncos though..they'll just have to surpass the expectations once again(..and then choke at the end of the season)..
