Wasn't there some sort of article published before about Bavetta tending to blow more whistles in favor of home teams?

I hope the assignments are as friendly as everyone says. If so I anticipate an Eddie Rush Joey Crawford Michael zuhlinski trio Sunday.

Having Dan Crawford ref this game significantly increases the chances for a Mavs loss. Even if his brother Joey was on the same crew. , that's bad news.

Danny Crawford is tonight's crew chief. Not entirely convinced that he's either good for the Spurs or bad for the Mavericks. A few years ago, his reputation as a "let them play" official was well-earned, but of late I think he's a bit more willing to call playoff games closely. Spurs haven't seen him in a playoff game since he officiated the Game 1 meltdown at Staples in the 2008 WCF.

Reading that Danny Crawford will be reffing tonight makes me smile. Not saying all the calls are going to go the Spurs way, but he's fair. That's all I want.

Danny Crawford is good for the Spurs and Bad for the Mavericks. The Mavericks are something like 2-15 in playoff games where he's officiated.

Joey Crawford is a good ref. He's just an ego maniac. Hopefully he's been cured of the I-don't-care-who-you-are-you-better-not-show-me-up disease.

Stats suggest ref Danny Crawford doesn't love Mavs

Dallas Basketball.com makes a compelling case that referee Danny Crawford's whistle tweets to a different rhythm when he officiates playoff games involving the Dallas Mavericks.

It isn't just that Denver had 36 free throw attempts to Dallas' 13 in Game 1 of that series, with Crawford officiating.

The website says that since 2001 the Mavericks are 1-15 in playoff games worked by Crawford. In the rest of its (non-Crawford) postseason games in that period, Mark Cuban's team was 52-35.

Dallas Basketball.com says Dallas' lone playoff victory with Crawford on the officiating crew was a blowout against Phoenix in 2006.

The website also takes issue with the two NBA Finals games called by Crawford between Dallas and Miami in 2006. In Game 3, Dwyane Wade had 18 free throws for the Heat, and in Game 6 Wade had 21, just two fewer than Dallas' team total.

Little Danny (mav hater) Crawford comes to San Antonio.
All you Spurs fans Bet the Farm on a victory tonight. We are screwed.

Hopefully that means Joey shows up on Sunday!

My, my, my how the tides have turned. Mav fans crying about refs and ft disparity. But but but the nuggets were attacking the rim.
