For a team that prides itself on being classy and setting an example for other organisations, we sure got some ty fans.... its kinda embarrassing to be honest

No wonder the Spurs crowd is filled with pussies who sit on their hands and don't do anything to give the team a homecourt advantage.
Holding up a picture of Tony's famous wifey and holding up a picture of the girl that lied to Dirk every day they were together and even lied about being pregnant isn't exactly the same thing. Anyone that does this is an asshole.
It is just a d*ck move to do something like this. It is in poor taste.
Pretty much this. Like I said, Dirk's a good guy. Now, if Terry or Cubes were to have any skeletons, I'd have no problem exploiting THEM for the so-called home court advantage.
I never want to see another thread on here complaining about the weak crowd again.
There is a difference in being rowdy and being stupid.
As if he can't go off for 40 regardless?
San Antonio fans are classy, I haven't seen any recent evidence to contradict that. However, we are at a disadvantage because the arena isn't as loud as others. Also, a lot of us are fat and can't get out of our seats to properly cheer (a la OKC fans last night). I see nothing wrong with making a poster with Crystal's face on it and holding it up. Making a giant banner is one thing, but a fan expressing himself/herself with a personal poster isn't bad. Dirk prolly won't be able to see it anyway, but it sure is funny!
i hope you're going to the game because if you're not YOU are the ty fan.
Being stupid is going and punching someone for wearing the wrong jersey or throwing a bottle at the other team/refs. Showing a poster of a woman who screwed Dirk over isn't bad.
some of you guys need to go buy yourself a sense of humor.
This is what they should hold up a poster of:

Lol I live in Ireland....I don't think i'm gonna be able to get across for this one![]()
Agreed. A blowup of an exercise bike or Hasselhoff would have been more appropriate. Really lame to bring a player's personal life into this.
I think that's been done before, but yeah, stick to mocking his lack of defense, his caveman looks or his awful taste in music.
The fans that held up melted records to Kareem hadn't had David Robinson to reform the spirit of the franchise.
I don't know, I think I disagree with the "classless" comments..
I mean, ya, it's bush league, but it's all about winning..go all out to win games..if thinking about his one true love makes him play worse, I'm all for it..whatever it takes to win..it's also extremely funny IMO..
I think it would be too much if we're talking about family or death or something like that, but laughing about ing the wrong woman isn't that big of a deal IMO..
Utah fans do a lot worse, and it works..they'll probably be harassing Denver tonight with "DUI" chants and hopefully chants about JR Smith..
I don't think this will phase Dirk one bit. You don't think this stuff is on his mind all year? Come on.
That would be like holding a picture of back-to-back trophies up to taunt Duncan. That or television ratings.
Yeah but JR Smith is human garbage while Dirk is a generally classy guy.
Oh, I doubt it will work, but I think anything like that is worth a try..
I also agree that Dirk is generally a class act and I have respect for him, but again, I don't think it's that big of a deal, at least IMO..
I think if we piss Dirk off the Spurs won't be able to sign him for the MLE this summer.
Obviously you are unaware of this:Utah fans do a lot worse, and it works..they'll probably be harassing Denver tonight with "DUI" chants and hopefully chants about JR Smith..
Also, even if it doesn't work on Dirk, which it probably won't, it'll at least piss of Mavs fans, and that's always good..nothing better than some trash talk between fan bases..
It's not a huge deal obviously, just lame as . Very "Shank" like.
