Dang! Bad news!!!!!
spurs
Manu Ginobili suffered a nasal fracture during game 3, he will be reevaluated Saturday and a CT scan will be conducted. #nbap10
Dang! Bad news!!!!!
damn, if he played after that I think he can play next game
Didn't seem to bother him too much. My guess is Manu is about to call Carl Herrera and ask to borrow his Zorro Mask.
good news. he'll be appropriately pissed and fired up for game 4
If that's the case, he probably shouldn't have been playing.
.
So what does this mean?
but a damn mask on and lets win this series.
it will swell up more tomorrow..... he may even have Black eyes...... Fracture and broken noses aint no joke..... but he will play through it
I'm sure he could. But I'm worried that with actual an actual medical diagnosis he might be forced not to play. Manu only played right away tonight because he just rushed the medical staff.
He will play
Then the Spurs would have lost, so that would be bad.
Manu was amazing tonight. I am so glad I got to see that
Uh, what? Players play with broken noses all the time. How do you know he rushed anyone? Stop pulling out of your ass.
His nose is overconfigured and has redundancy built-in.. no problem.
I'm hoping for a black mask. Manu has always reminded me of Zorro.
Umm...the commentators did!?!?! According to them, Manu wanted to play right after they stopped the bleeding.
NO way in Manu DOESN'T play. If he went back out there after it initially happened and played like he did, you better be damn sure he's playing on Sunday.
Manu will play in game 4 there is no doubt in my mind. There are far worse injuries he could have right now so hopefully this is the worse he will go through.
"Your doctor can give you some local anesthesia, reposition the broken bones into place, and then hold them in the right location with a “cast” made of plastic, plaster, or metal. This cast will then stay in place for a week. In the first two weeks after the injury, your doctor may offer you this kind of repair, or a similar approach using general anesthesia in the operating room."
From some medical site....main problem will be pain and fully breathing. He should be good to go with a mask sunday
he did rush the medical staff, as soon as it stopped bleeding he ran out onto the court, they said it on ESPN.
What I mean is, if he had allowed the medical staff to check his condition, they wouldn't have let him back on the floor.
It's just a broken nose- he's going to play.
Of course he wanted to play right after he stopped the bleeding. You don't think they were trying to stop it as quickly as possible? You make it sound as though he went out there and played in some kind of unsafe condition.
The worst thing that happens with a broken nose in an athletic sense is that you can't breathe as well. Boxers fight with broken noses and you think Manu wasn't going to go back in for medical reasons?
