Maybe they could just pack it again? I bet it's hard to breathe like that but it might be more comfortable than a mask

Does a mask exist that anchors the nose in place but doesn't fit around the eyes? It seems like the hardest part of adjusting to a mask is the change in peripheral vision.

And it seems to be lost somewhere that Dirk got an and 1 on the play where he elbowed Manu (the replay shows that he caught McDyess on the chin with his other elbow). Shades of Karl Malone knocking Robinson literally unconscious with an elbow, only for the foul to be called on David as he lay on the floor?

Hopefully it's not bad enough for a mask. Because the mask will take some time for him to adjust.
This is what I'm afraid of. It might affect his shot. Let's hope he can play without one, although the Docs may force him to wear something.

Richard Jefferson, please please please show up for the game. Then Manu TD Tony and Hill don't have to worry about that much. Just need 12 points from you.

As long as the strap doesn't block the eyes in the back of Manu's head, he should be fine.

Uh, what? Players play with broken noses all the time. How do you know he rushed anyone? Stop pulling out of your ass.
Hmmm..maybe because the report from the locker room on TNT was, "manu rushed the team doctors" to get back out there

This is serious. His nose will be tender and swollen. -this has to affect the way he plays mask or not. This is not good news.

    Broken nose won't sideline Ginobili
    ESPN.com news services

San Antonio Spurs guard Manu Ginobili suffered a nasal fracture in Friday's Game 3 win over the Dallas Mavericks but will not need surgery and will play in Sunday's Game 4.

Ginobili caught an errant elbow from Mavericks forward Dirk Nowitzki in the third quarter and headed to the locker room leaving a trail of blood.

The Spurs forward returned later in the period and scored 11 of his 15 points in the fourth quarter to push the Spurs to a 94-90 home win and a 2-1 series lead over second-seeded Dallas.

"I had no doubt that he was going to return," Spurs forward Tim Duncan said. "He has a strong nose on him."

Manu is a forward now? I guess in the 3-guard lineup he is...

I agree that Manu and some of our players are a little tired and Richard is going to have to step up for us to win. Pop and Manu please get RJ some early touches and some easy baskets because if he scores 12pts or more our winning average goes way up!

If Jason Terry playing against us is any indication, the mask shouldn't make one iota of a difference...
