Seriously. How can a team act so damn stupid and forget the game plan? They are playing the dumbest defense on Kidd and everyone. So bad.

See, going into the game, the Spurs could have lost and been ok. What they could not do, is do it in this fashion. You have to make the Mavs work their asses off out of desperation. Not embarrass you in your own building. These types of games turn series around.

Just a pitiful first half and I am seriously concerned about Duncan. That is a huge drop off. Manu at least still looks normal. Tim looks flat out hobbled.
What game plan? All of a sudden we are playing micro small ball for the first time all series. We went away from a rotation that handed us two good wins in this series to trot out a lineup of Parker, Jefferson, Bogans, Blair, and Bonehead in the second quarter.

Is anyone really surprised that Dallas took control of the game and got their offense going against a lineup like that? Someone needs to kick Pop in the ing junk.

doubling dirk has been a major failure. dice needs to get his energy up. and bonner needs to not be completely pathetic for at least one half.

Big 3 have 10 pts in first half.

Tim screwing up his birthday, and real risk of losing this series.

-Bonner needs a hypnotist or something to get over the playoffs..was he scarred as a kid or something?..he really needs to show up..it's sad, but this team is built to rely on him at certain times..he needs to make shots, he's supposed to be the best shooter on this team..
    LOL

    Bonner isn't getting over anything.

At the half he's now played 8.5 playoff games including last year.

And he's tearing it up shooting 25% from the field and 26% from 3.

    AWESOME!

He is who people with marginal powers of observation thought he was : a useless choker.

Kenny the Jet Smith advocating more small ball.

That's really gonna help the rebounding deficit.
    Seriously??

Can't cry about officiating, there have been very few ghost calls. Spurs are playing defense with their hands.

Hill has never been able to guard Barea. Barea is too small he just goes right under Hill.

Hill should be on Kidd or Terry at all times, I'd rather have Parker on Barea.

Dallas should be up 20. They might regret allowing SA to stay in shouting distance.

Is Terry out for the game? Can't say I have any sympathy for that tool.

Hopefully it's all p&r in the 2nd half, at least until Duncan gets going with some easy layups..

Hopefully they remember to rotate to the shooters and that Jason Kidd only shoots 3s..I've been saying that since the FIRST game vs. the Mavs in November, yet they're still making these mistakes in ing April..it's not difficult to comprehend..

Dallas is killing us on the boards. The team that win the rebound battle wins the game in the Dallas-Spurs matchup. We're in big trouble. The Blair/Bonner combo can't play together. When Pop is going to realize it. Every game this series those two together killed us

Manu and TD must play better for us to have any chance

Duncan playing like its his birthday, Pop coaching like its the regular season, Bonner playing like he usually does in the playoffs and Manu struggling with his injury. Looks like this thing might go 7 games after all.

Even when Barea turns the corner on him, he can still block JJ's shot from behind as he's shown in the past. He tried pulling the chair out on Barea during the 2nd quarter and failed, that's not how George plays defense.

Heck no, no sympathy for Terry. I hope he's out for the series, because if he's not and the Mavs go down, you can almost guarantee he'll 'inadvertently' hit Ginobili in the nose. That's just who he is.

Blame it on the re coach Pop.

I really am wondering about the previous games now. Did Pop's assistants force him to go big in games 2 and 3? I have no idea why Pop would be this stupid. ING horrible coaching.

Pop really goes too far with resting though..

If you want to rest your big dogs, end the series as quickly as possible..don't rest them during a critical game in favor of Bogans and more Bonner/Blair minutes..come on..

the B-B combo being awful has been obvious for months. If Pop still refuses to accept that 4 games into the playoffs then he's never going realize it.

Spurs are playing dumb as . Just flat out Nuggets level dumb. Terrible decisions. Then when you combine that with Tim and Manu looking terrible, this is the result you get.

Win or lose, make them work for it in the 2nd half. Make them work. Don't get embarrassed. Don't be a push over. Don't let them know they can bully you whenever they want.

They came out a little too comfortable. They lost a bit of the edge and appropriate fear they had before winning Games 2 and 3, but that's somewhat expected; as is the Mavs' sense of desperation/urgency.

I thought Pop really dropped the ball going with Bogans, Blair and Bonner for a good stretch ther. The numbers will tell you it was a positive on the scoreboard but they reall only tread water and didn't take advantage of the opportunity to jump on the Mavs. They should have been able to get a bit of a cushion there.

I suppose the Spurs were probably due for a poor offensive outing, both individually and the team as a whole, but they're going to have to find a way to grind this out; I don't care if I said they'd lose this game and win Game 5, you don't wanna have to win in Dallas.

The Mavs are killing on the boards (up 11 overall and 5 offensively) and they have a +10 in free-throws attempted (4 to 14), so getting that under control would go a long way to getting the desired result.

Let's go, boys. Time to nut up.

Tony, Hill, and RJ kept us in it, We need Timmy and Manu to make it happen. I still believe we're in their heads and a little run could make them go away and hide. Why don't we give Timmy the ball on the left side where he likes it? More than anything need to atleast try to penetrate it will lead to nothing but good.
