    1310 The Ticket has always used Mexican racism "humor" very loosely. I've heard stuff on the morning show and the drive home (Hardline) that used to make me cringe. Then I realize they think it's just being humerous and funny with no harm. Yeah. Ok, I can handle that but it's funny how it's not racism if you say "I was just kidding".

    Funny you say he produces Norm, who of all the guys on the Ticket is one of the nicest "dad" guys on the air there. I'd have guessed this produced one of the other shows on that station.

    they use stereotpyical racist humor all the time but nothing as blunt and non-humorous as this.

    Like they don't get on the air and start calling out SA for being full of dirty mexicans

    Pretty unfortunate comments from Bacsik. As a Spurs fan in Dallas I listen to the Ticket (folks, this is the original one here) all the time and Bacsik is usually pretty good on the radio. He's a former MLB pitcher and Ive never heard this stuff from him before. Im sure he will catch but I hope this is a one time "aww " moment and he gets to keep his job..

    They go borderline sometimes, sure.

    But go look at the feed that is posted. Calling the games fixed, calling out Stern's ass, then the shot about SA that started this thread. There was no humorous intent in his tweets, dude is just being the typical juvenile Mavs fan asshole.

    no, I listen to Norm's show too but this guy should be axe'd immediately. There's no room or leeway at all for this when you're working "legitimate" journalism. He's a thought - don't use your Twitter or facebook or whatever unless you're at work and sober.
