Who drinks that much on a Sunday night?
Wow, that guy is REALLY REALLY interested in the oral sex habits of the Refs and Stern. He also made a vague terrorist threat against NBA offices. Whatever tho...it's nothing to complain about, just another butthurt Mavs fan with a mic.
Who drinks that much on a Sunday night?
As Tim Duncan would say this guy is "irrelevant"
jihad deathbed threats ftw
"If I get cancer and I'm going to die I wil blow NBA offices" - mike bacsik tweet
made me giggle.
Plenty to complain about when he has a mic. I wonder what the ticket's sponsors think about racism?
Considering the other posts this guy made that were deleted, I would not be surprised at all if we find out his account was hacked. At least I hope that was the case.
That will be the spin job they put on it.
I do, too. Damn.
Actually, his comment about dirty mexicans was probably the weakest.. looking at the entire post above he said pretty bad things - he's going to get called out. I really hope he losses his job.
Nope, he's definitely that stupid. You've never heard this sucker on the radio.
Six months ago today, in fact.
Doubtful. He probably deleted them all after getting called out and realizing he was ed.
How's life?
He's definitely set on male genitals and bodily fluids. Outside from all jokes, this guy needs to see a therapist. Take the mic out of his mouth...
W/o Mike, Norm's show is gonna be sooooooo dull.
in' drunk tweeting.
The dude's comments about refs were consistent with his earlier tweets, and he did give a warning about using bad language so that doesn't sound like a hack job at all.
I'm just not down with headhunting someone cuz he's talking on a public twitter. If he's made similar comments on air, that's another story. People shouldn't be subjected to his idiocy on the radio, but on twitter WE the public go looking for it, right? We can ignore it or call him out on it but I think asking for his job is a bit much.
Yeah right more like the asshole realize what he had said was only acceptable to other racist assholes and he decided to delete what he said.
yeah...would suck if this guy loses his job because he was stupid enough to start sending tweets while drunk. I don't know him and have never heard his show but I hope he really did not send those messages.
Sounds like he was wasted (and might have a drinking problem). A lesson learned in twitter-world. What happens on twitter actually happens in life. This will be national news firing and used for years to come in textbooks on how NOT to use social media.
Still adjusting slowly to Seattle, but had a damn fine month work-wise.
Got a fellowship to the Knight Digital Media Center, part of a Pulitzer-winning team and a big trip coming this week.
Now that I actually work, though, I can't do as much online, so I've been away from ST way too long.
I don't know if I agree with that...when you are a public figure that has a radio show your twitter posts are going to reflect the show and its station whether you think it should or not. He is stupid if he thinks otherwise.
Wait, so you think its OK for a media mouthpiece to make these type of comments as long as he does so in semi private? Thats bull .
Twitter is another tool used by media personalities to reach out to the public. Its no different than radio. I mean you have to actually tune into radio right? So you go looking for it.
The worst people to have in control of the media - even sports radio - are those who hold feelings like this. I don't even buy this guy was drunk. And even if he was that somehow makes it excuseable? that.
No, what sucks is that he's in control of a media outlet in any way shape or form. him and his job.
