It's basic social media, folks.

I don't think people should have these opinions in private, but I can't control or comment on what I don't know people do in private.

You cannot put these sentiments into writing in a public domain. It's not a difficult concept.

What happens on the internet stays there, and can come back around on you - that's why you should be careful what you say. And if you are at all a public figure, then for heaven's sake use some ing common sense and don't use the twitter account or FB account linked to you publically to make derogatory and/or racist comments. That's just plain ing stupid.

I think his comments are hateful, even if he is just a hacked off drunk dude. Inappropriate - which he realized and tried to correct by deletion and apology. He needs to be held accountable - even if it's just an on-air apology.

Think before typing. Many people have lost jobs, friends, spouses because they don't think the internet is significant or real - it is. Honest to God, don't be stupid like this asswipe.

I'm not defending his comments, can you point me to anywhere where I gave the faintest impression of supporting his angry, ignorant, and dumbass comments? He made terroristic threats too! I'd have no problem calling him out and make him put his words up to the fire because this is a job for the public to take care of with him - NOT an email campaign to cost someone their job.

He's probably going to lose his job, you reap what you sow, but I think if we can live with Talk Radio celebrities spewing political hate on topics like money and healthcare that really create friction...we can handle an asshole like Mike Bacsik and if The Ticket will have him, then let them. But don't act like you got any horses in the race on this one, the real fight is far and away from here and if you want to be honest and consistent in your own self...you need to chase that campaign where it really matters.

Things like what he said being a public figure take this country back to the stone age. People from all nations come to the US and they are here to stay. The sooner they grasp this concept the better.

I won't argue with that and I believe I do and that this is simply an extension of that.

Does ulus own any stations in San Antonio? Reason I ask is, that will be the party that calls for his head. Bascik is a well-known mavs homer in Dallas on the radio and none of these posts surprise me.
