1991 - Golden State over San Antonio 3-1. (what happened???)

Both 7's went on to lose in the 2nd round.


So unless Little D pulls off a miracle, they will be the first 2 seed to lose in the first round since the best of seven was introduced in 2003.

Oh and just in case you were wondering, only once has a 1 seed lost in a first round best of seven. Happened about 3 years ago or so
