We have to play this like it's Game 7, go out there and give it your all!
Go Spurs Go!
gotta survive the 1st Quarter. if the mavs don't have a big lead by the end, they're screwed.
my thoughts exactly.
Completely off topic, but anyone have any recommendations for a club / cafe in Austin with good local music for a date ?
Today's LOST is a rerun. Which is good for me as a LOST fan.
If the Spurs win tonight, a look at Barkley tomorrow morning:

Man, it would be too perfect to backdoor sweep these Mavs and beat them 4-1, like they did to the Spurs last year.
They better play hard from the beginning, something they didn't do last game..Dallas won't choke again, so SA needs to come out focused from the opening tip..
Go all-out, get the W..if they can end it here, that's extra rest for everybody, which is better than Pop being conservative with their minutes during the actual games..
Exactly, which is why I think Pop needs to play the the best players extended minutes.
I don't expect Pop to be conservative with minutes early, but if this begins to get away from the Spurs and they're down, say, mid-teens by the start of the fourth, I wouldn't be shocked if he has at least Duncan, McDyess and Ginobili resting, if not Jefferson, Hill and Parker. I think he'll push for the win early, but won't overdo it. If things looks bleak, he'll probably save the top six for game six.
The worst possible scenario is the top six, mainly the first three I mentioned, play extended minutes and the Spurs lose. Obviously, this is not entirely in Pop's control. If it's close throughout, then of course he has to play all of these guys as much as possible to see if they can close it out, but short of that, I'd be for pulling the plug relatively early if it looks bleak.
Expect the Mavs to be in attack mode and getting the whistle early. McDyess and probably another starter (I'll say Jefferson) will almost certainly be in early foul trouble.
So do y'all think the Mavs will play their best with their backs against the wall, or do you think they already showed their best in game 4 (they certainly didn't want to go down 1-3)? I'm thinking if we can get enough separation on them they'll start to collapse.
Just stay on Kidd/Terry at the 3 point line or Pop will yank you again Tony.
Feels like a must-win to me. It must end tonight.
Come on Dallas... do your thing...

I like the Mavs by about 4-5 points tonight, then the Spurs comfortably in Game 6.
The other likely option, IMO, is that the Mavs totally roll over tonight and get s acked. But I think that's less likely than Option 1 by a considerable margin.
Mavs are not going to quit. Dirk is too good and he won't let them. He is going to come out game 1 style. Just keep it somewhat close going into the fourth boys. Give yourself a chance.
Expect the spurs to have less intensity in this game than the Mavs have...
but, if we are real le contenders, we will come out and contest this like crazy! If we give them this game (my fear) they will believe that they will
win...because the spurs just won three in a row.
Good luck tonight ... but I'm not expecting a Spurs win.
I just hope Pop doesn't over extend the main guys with heavy minutes once it's clear that the game's not going his way.
This seems like one of those series/games where the Spurs just have things going their way. I feel a buzzer beater to win the game. Don't know from who though.
While i still can't believe the spurs actually won the last game, all i am hoping now is no one get injured or dirty this game.
George Hill 3 to win... YES!!!
