Butler won't hit everything he throws up two games in a row. AND, you'd think odds are that Manu doesn't no-show 3 games in a row.

    Why are people mad?..

There's no point of wasting the energy of the best players, this game is clearly over..they're much better off rested and coming strong in game 6..
We're mad because the effort you saw in every other game this series is gone. We're mad because this was an excellent opportunity to put the Mavs away and rest up for the next round.

Butler and Haywood are definitely out to quiet the Josh Howard nuthuggers tonight. Damn.
Dude, GREAT EFFORT from the Mavs tonight. Phenomenal game. Spurs deserve to get SMASHED with this pathetic effort.

Mavs were the aggressors, we weren't....they knew what was at stake, we played like it was an exhibition. I still think we can get it in 6 with some adjustments and smarter basketball.

+1 If we're gonna lose this game anyway, better to get blown out and give the starters some rest than to battle all game and lose a close one and be worn out or get someone injured. We'll be returning the favor back in SA.

    Spurs in 6. BOOK IT!!!

Spurs are missing easy buckets, Mavs can't miss. Has nothing to do with anything but luck.

    Mavs fans.

    ING AWESOME EFFORT tonight.

Spurs - I have never been more pissed off at a team before. Way to show nothing but gutless, heartless play. Not respecting Dallas at all IMO by coming out like this tonight.

I wouldnt be upset if there was at least some sort of effort or energy. But they look like they were going through the motions from tip off.

I thought Tim had a decent start ... knocked down a few shots in the first quarter but they didn't seem to be looking for him too much. From the second quarter onwards he has been a disaster.

Manu on the other hand has just sucked ass the whole ing game. He should just donate one game worth of his pay to charity.

Poor rotations as well. We haven't given them this many open looks in all the other games combined.

not to mention it gives the mavs a false sense of confidence. let them think they actually did something different...which they aren't. they're just hitting some lucky shots, riding on adrenaline and fear of getting bounced from the playoffs on their home floor

Damn it this is pro ball! God I hate Pop. I wonder what Phil Jackson could do with Tim, Tony, and Manu? 6, 7 championships?

What a difference a day makes. We were all on cloud 9 after game 4.

Credit the Mavs, it's not just a case of us having an off night. Brilliant adjustment by Carlise to start Haywood.
And I don't know if we have an answer for Butler.
We may be in trouble here folks, despite our series lead.
I know, starting a decent credible center over an overrated piece of that should've retired about 5 years ago. Carlisle's ing brilliant.
