Believe it, it was apparently banned too, which is REALLY hard to do in Germany. In fact this was really tame in comparison to some of the shows I watched over there (Peep, Liebe Suende, usw.)

It wasn't a real Sprite commercial and it was never banned or anything (since it was never a commercial). It was just something created by an independent producer as a fake ad on spec. It wasn't even made in Germany - it was made in NY.
That clears up my confusion. Like I said, this commercial seems sort of tame.
