Keeping Beaubois out for most of this series actually.
Keeping Beuabious out for most of the 4th quarter.
Keeping Beaubois out for most of this series actually.
Second only to not playing Beuabious during the series.
Horrible coaching by carlisle.. sorry bout that dumb ass coach you have mavs fans.
Beaubois is last year's George Hill.
He will play a big part next year.
Now I completely understand why MavFan has been ing to get this guy on the floor.
Way to go, Rick.
+1...the dude was killing the Spurs. Carlisle ed that one up.
Having Fisher guard Westbrook for 4 games is worse.
I know he would have helped alot but seriously he is no Michael Jordan.
I thought it was a pretty darn good move taking him out of the game ;P
You guys are stupid thinking you know better than those coaches. No matter how well he was playing against the spurs in the 2nd and 3rd qtrs, the 4th qtr is another beast. You just don't put the kid out there in the fire like that. And when he finally put him in the game, the kid turned it over. He will play next year in the 4th, he wasn't ready for this year's playoffs.
Realskipbayless: Spurs MVP: Rick Carlisle. Rooting for S.A., I was very relieved my old friend Rick didn't play Beaubois 1st 9:16 of 4th. No answer for him.
Is he really his friend?

I remember the same thing earlier. It went a little something like this:
Roddy would have been fine. To be able to come into a playoff game after sitting for weeks and light it up in an loud arena shows that it wouldnt have been a problem. Plus that TO was as much on Kidd as it was on Roddy.
All I know is that he isn't a friend of the Mavs. He will stay up all night finding a way to blame this all on Dirk.
Well I may be dumb , but I ain't stupid. But what I would have done is not take him off the court until he ran out of gas. No perimeter player could stay in front of him and not even Duncan could stop him at the rim.
I would have left him in till he dropped or just started hurting the cause. Riding the streak on a player like him(inexperienced , inconsistent) would allow you to get everything out of him while he was hot and then not having as much pressure to have to come back in a crucial situation and continue the streak. I would have done it differently than Carlisle.
What you just said is what Carlisles did in game 3 with JJ BAREA and other hot players. How did that turn out?
Damn that avatarway to man up.
This coaching move hasn't been decided yet:
Phil Jackson criticizing refs inciting Stern's warning for everyone to stop.
You know a coach, Phil or not, is going to have something controversial to say about the refs before the season is over.
My bets would be on Phil, Doc, and Stan in that order to test Stern's resolve.
I am not commenting on game 3 and those players.I just said what I would have done in this game with this player and situation. Maybe it works , maybe not. I Just would have done this one differently.
I no rite! He gvot them back in the game then da coach turned his back on him until it was to late. What a dumbass. He shouldve ran a Roddy & Dirk P&R till they feet bled! He's fired 4real.
