I have no idea why people have to make up crap about Dirk. He is quite possibly the nicest guy in the NBA, and he expresses his respect for the Spurs all the time.
what game were you watching?

at EricB not showing his face...

No kidding.. Does anyone remember when he got punked because of it?![]()
He was watching the same game that Bonner was a defensive stopper and hit 9 3's in a row
Mavs showed a lot of class at the end of that game. What game were you watching?
I thought Eric B was against class warfare?
i don't think he'll be popping his face in here anytime soon.
I read that wrong. I thought it read only najera and barea didn't shake hands.
WTF is up with the weight cracks and bs like that?
Bonner had dinner with Barea a couple days ago so it ain't no big deal, heat of the moment that's understandable.
they take after their owner no class
This thread is funny, considering the pic on the front of Spurs.com is Dirk congratulating Manu.
I think T_Park should come in here and say he was wrong and overreacted.
i thought dirk handled himself fine
i think EricB is trying to become the next SequSpur... attention .
hey, i haven't seen SS around in a while... coincidence?
Nowitzki was the last player to leave the Mavericks' locker room. Wearing black slacks and a dark blue dress shirt, he quietly walked toward the AT&T Center media room, head down at times, staring absentmindely toward the floor.
Just outside the interview room was Tim Duncan, with his wife and two young children. Dirk perked up for a moment, shook hands with Duncan and said, "Hey, buddy, go get 'em."

Dirk, who put on an amazing display offensively the whole series, was very gracious in the loss and had a conversation with Duncan - and I hope Tim said - "hey come play with us next year"!
If only Holt had an extra 15m-20m laying around to spare
Dirk has huge respect for Duncan and I think vice versa.
However, I can't see Dirk coming to the Spurs if he opts out. You don't have the cap space, do you? At least you would need Jefferson to opt out and I can't see that happen.
About any new contracts in the furture: Dirk doesn't care about money, he would play for less, I'm sure.
I am a Dirk fan.this thread deserves a bump.
That's how I read it also...
And I've always liked Dirk on and off the court.
this pic may cheer some of us up
I'm having a hard time discerning what I'm seeing here . . .
Am I bearing witness to an unfortunate fishing accident, one that may or may not have severely injured the big German; or am I seeing an unprecedented attempt at breeding the first Great White German?
