Deep down in your black hearts, you know that the mavs beat themselves. dont fool yourself. Another Dallas collapse, that why your series MVP is Rick Carlisle. Even you were shocked from the high shooting percetages and nights that McDyess and Hill put up. You were shocked to see the 50/50 balls bounce right in your hands. You lucked out when Danny Crawford called game 4 considering we're 2-16 when the guys calls our playoff games.
In all seriousness, You guys know that the end is near and this first round win got your weiners hard and you think that 5 rings is obtainable. Its not happening. So its great that you guys beat us in the first round and you have the bragging rights, again. And i'll wear that. But you were not the better team, and you know that.
As for dallas, they'll be ok. Its a large market team and they;ll ALWAYS be in the mix. As long as cuban is there, we'll be compe ive. you however with your small market and lame fan base, risk losing everything if you are to have consecutive losing seasons. Once Pop is gone, once timmy hangs em up, once gi-nose-bili heads back to argentina, and once Mr. Longoria is finished, you will be once again, a spec on a map and just as irrelevant as you were before you got lucky in the Tim Duncan lottery. whenever Dallas got their asses beat 44-6 in '08 we didnt comeback with "we have 5 championships". And if you did, then you must have never played compe ive sports in your life.
It was a hard fought series by two great teams, just like last year, just like the last 4 times our teams have met in the postseason this decade. Don't mar it by being a at the end.
And yes, I do brag about Cowboys Super Bowl les, especially to eagles fans. Rings show how successful your franchise has been and provide a winning foundation on which fans can expect more of the same.

hmmmm...so let me get this straight. your best argument is that maybe @ some point in the future you might still be good at having a solid record, being considered a threat, and probably just flaming out again, while we, with our non-noteworthy 4 rings, are definitely just gonna totally fall off the map.
whatever helps you sleep at night buddy. but for what its worth, from where a lot of us are sitting, having a whole slew of fantastic, exhilarating, and fulfilling WINNING playoff memories to look back on suuure beats nothing but memories full of disappointment, heartbreak and choking. even if they're coupled with high, lofty visions of "relevant" future.
oh and a 4-2 series victory is nice as well.

IF the mavs stay put, and give BBouis more minutes.. Their cohesion, and new element will make this series a 7 game series. They could possibly put us out of buisiness.

Spurs fans have taken a ton of from Mavs fans, players and owners since '06. I think the response to the victory is simply because of all that bull .
PS: The Spurs have only missed the playoffs what... 3 times in their history? I doubt they will fade into obscurity any time soon.

If the Mavs were the better team, they would have won. Doesn't matter about the excuses. You can come up with whatever you want. In the end, Spurs beat your team.
There's a lot of truth to everything else. I'd say even if the Spurs made the finals, Cleveland probably beats them but they might not even make it out of round 2. Phoenix has looked really tough late in the regular season and against the Blazers.

Who is this clown? First of all, being part of the "Cowboys Nation Syndicate" on youtube, the typical response to Eagles fans (when they were owning us for that long stretch there) is that it amounts to nothing, they've never gotten to the top, etc. etc. You can say that YOU don't do that, but don't be an idiot and speak for all Cowboys fans. I don't think you realize the massive Cowboys following in San Antonio.
Secondly, baggin' on the city just makes you sound like a little . Like, "Oh yea, well you smell!"
Third, had it been a 1 game first round and the Spurs won, maybe that might have been luck. The whole reason for a 7 game series is to identify the better team; meaning that the better team will win the games the majority of the time. In addition, the Spurs didn't even allow it to move past the 6th game, which means they were not only better, they were much better. This is not luck.
Get over yourself, you've got zero class and you're a perfect representative of the Dallas Mavericks fanbase and their superstar. A massive sense of en lement and arrogance, then intense whining when you don't get your way.
If Jason Kidd keeps playing a lot of minutes then he's going to look even worse than he did this playoffs.
Old and slow guards, especially offensively limited ones that are also slow defensively, are just too much of a liability unless you're a healthy Los Angeles team. Especially if Jason Terry is on the court with you. Too many teams in the West have young, quick, and athletic guards that can go to the paint at will. Mavs need at least two of those guys and maybe that rookie will be one of 'em.
Kidd's definitely not the only reason why the Mavs lost but will be a key player in their future struggles and losses.
