I'm actually more concerned about Steve Nash's health than Lopez. He injured his hip again before Game 3, and that has caused his back problem to bother him again. He said he was really hurting out there tonight, which was obvious.
I know you like to discount this, DOK, but Nash's spondylolisthesis is a real problem. Hopefully during these next 4 days, he can get right again.
No, c'mon, angel pie, give Cubby some of that bold ass rippin' you gave Mavsdom. Or, are you and Sunsdom just gonna play house?
Lack of backbone has always been Nash's weakness, sans when he lifted Porter and threw him into the trash compactor.
They'll miss Marion for guarding Ginobilli. I have no idea what they're going to do with him. I guess Grant Hill or Richardson? Parker is another problem, but at least dragic will be in part of the time and help D is a bit better this season when Nash is in.
Yup, the suns better beware of George Hill, that guy went ballistic on the mavs.
Definitely a matchup nightmare.

Now it's Spuns Fandom's turn to say something sweet & postive about the Spuns.
Go ahead.
Yeah, I'm sure his hip is causing his hands to pass the ball to the other team. Same thing as what happened after the AS game, Nash has some bad games, and an injury pops up outa nowhere.

Not Spurs-Suns again
I'm just tired of playing the Suns almost every year
Watch it, Lefty, that's borderline kind.
This is going to be brutal for the Spurs. No 3 PT shooting and a point guard that can actually shoot from other spots besides 3.
? I may be taking this out of context, but Mason, Hill, Ginobilli all shoot 3's well.
My main concern is guarding Ginobilli on the pick and role. No one has figured out how to stop it yet this year. He creates havoc by being able to shoot 3's using all arms not having to shoot a jump shot giving the D time to jump at him. So if the D does jump at him, he's not jumping and can drive else just lob up the shot using his arms.
I noticed Rudy on Portland shoots like this sometimes to being able to get a 3 off fast because he doesn't have to square up his legs and jump.
Not really. Mason is terrible and *hopefully* won't see minutes. Manu is streaky. Hill is our best 3 pt shooter. As a team, the Spurs have been struggling from 3 since the All Star Break.
They shot terrible from 3 against the Mavs. It does not bode well against the Suns.
DPG, gettin' his white flag on.

Fixed it for you. The Suns fans have nothing to trash talk about, so they're attempting to stay realistic about their chances.
Here's what I hate about the Spurs and Barkley pointed out earlier this year, maybe it was Kenny.
The Suns are best on O at the 3 and pick and roll.
The Spurs are best on D at guarding the 3 and the pick and roll.
They essentially cancel each other out, then Spurs execution/Duncan usually puts them over the hump.
Yeah, but, you guys are trying to top them from the bottom.
It's the weirdst damn thing I've seen on this Board.
it, Paul, meld 'em into the Spuns and head to Los Angeles early.
It is just one observation that I feel can be a big problem for the Spurs going into the series. There are a few others as well. This is a brutal playoff run for the Spurs.
When you can really talk any kind of trash you want, you don't need to.
Some people on this board actually prefer to discuss sports rather than repeating, "FOUR RINGS, GOT" and "lol suns" ad nauseum.
Damn, first Mavs, then Suns, and potentially Lakers if we carry on... this WC run is like a ing compilation of greatest rivalries for the spurs.
Either that, or, you're really scared less of the Suns. You lose that series, and I'm gonna bust that ass, Cry.
