His D was worse then Fishers tonight, he let Steve Nash on him. J. Kidd doesnt penetrate like Nash so its easier not to get exposed on D

Exactly...J Kidd is horrible...sure he hustles but dude can't drive let alone finish at the rim. His lack of offense and dribble penetration is the primary reason that the Mavs lost

It's one game. George Hill sucked ass against the Mavs the first two games of that series and bounced back. That's why you make adjustments.

Hill's 3 point shooting stays at home.

And if Hill and the Spurs suck; what does that mean for Kidd, Terry, and the Mavs?

Means that Dallas is also nothing more then a jumpshooting team, its a lot easier to guard them then PHX always running & Nash setting up all his players for easy buckets.

Hill was gettin' schooled by everyone tonight. I like the kid but he was lost tonight. Also the overall Spurs D is a far cry from what it used to be. And they still scare the out of me.

Hill will bounce back. He wasn't that good in the first couple of games against Dallas. In these series, Nash made him work on D early on. I expect Tony to start next game.

After one game DPG has called this series pretty accurately, the Spurs lack of spacing KILLED them tonight. In 2005 or 2007 all the attention Manu was getting would have resulted in open 3's for Finley or Bowen or Horry.

They still have plenty of trouble with him. The havoc he creates with ball fakes, the drive, and flops still f's up the Suns to no end.

The difference is that Kidd kept leaving Hill. Nash respected Hill's shot.

George Hill was just shooting some shots that he was supposed to shoot. No surprises there. He hit them all against the Mavs and that's why they won. If you hit shots, you will win. If you don't, you will lose. Just missing the shots he's supposed to miss.

I said after the Mavs series that Hill was the Mavs' Baron Davis 2010, and would come back down to earth the next series simply because it wasn't against the Dallas Mavericks, similar to Bdiddy vs Utah.

Be interesting to see if I continue to be right.
