Agreed but I'll take a game 1 win anyway I can get it.
All I can say is good game. But the suns need to play tougher. I'm sick of seeing the spurs push, grab, etc and the suns not fight back. No more easy layups.

BTW, what the is up with Stoudamire's eyes? Bloodshot as .
Smoking it up before the game to stay loose.
Idk whatever works. Maybe he's taking ADD meds to help his focus![]()
was it just me or were there a lot of offensive fouls in this game.....on both ends. I mean, usually offensive players get the benefit of the doubt, but tons of charges tonight....that was interesting.
The Spurs shot way too many 3 pointers. Parker, Manu, and Duncan should have been driving to the basket more. When you're sucking ass at 3 pointers, go inside. Props to the Suns for the win but the series isn't over. Game 2 is crucial for the Suns. Must win. They don't want to give any hope or confidence to the Spurs. The Spurs really do miss Bowen and Horry. Those guys were always good at making wide open 3 pointers.
i predicted Spurs in six. i'm sticking with it. i knew not having Bowen anymore to guard Nash would be significant, but i didn't think he'd have this much of a field day.
it's getting redundant, but RJ needs to get touches. it's ridiculous. they run maybe two plays for him a game, and he's the type of player that has to have plays run for him because he doesn't compliment the big 3 very well and play off of them. then they give him the ball when they're down five with a couple mintues to go and expect him to hit the shot. it's the right idea, but the fact that he was never involved in the game and got into any kind of a groove that made it stupid in that instance. maybe he hits that if he's involved more early on.
i'm actually surprised the Spurs lost the game by so little. they looked like for the most part. you know when Bogans and even more RMJ get as much time as they got that things aren't going well if you're SA. it cracks me up when announcers cling to outdated, obsolete perceptions, like Doug Collins when he says, "the Spurs brought in RMJ for 3-point shooting." RMJ for 3-point shooting? WTF. guy hasn't been able to hit a 3 to save his life all year.
Like the Cavs in their Game One, the Suns have done no more than hold home court.
While you're right that Phoenix was just winning a game they needed to win, it's a game they couldn't win in 2005 or 2007.
Wow, that is harsh at least you did not say Seattle Ewing LOL
Or Cleveland Shaq! LMAO
Predicated on what, Muse? I hope you have something aside from a hunch.
If anything it's predicated on the fact Phoenix didn't beat the Spurs two consecutive times ever in the playoffs from 2005-2008.
That ain't a "hunch." But, it's pretty close.
True, but I can't fault the guy for having faith.
Gotta hope Pop comes up with something before tomorrow night. It's his responsibility now.
He needs to get Hill's head right. The kid came out ready to drop 30 points and forgot his job was to stop Nash from doing just that.
Early on Hill was getting his ass chewed on the Spurs bench and was giving it right back to his teammates.
Hmmm didn't see that. Again, it's something I'll never understand, but sometimes, a guy developing a jumper leads to his career falling apart. Trevor Ariza the classic example, became a good catch and shoot 3 pt. threat, and stopped doing the little things once he got to Houston. If he just understood the player he was and accepted that role he could be on a winner.
