Bruce Bowen would like to have a word with you.
I said it earlier this season and I'm going to have to say it again:
I miss Michael Finely.
I don't believe the Spurs should ever release a player mid season like that again. The fact of the matter is that while everyone believed RMJ would provide SOMETHING we let a serviceable (HAHA I know) wing player leave that I really wish we had at our disposal now.
This is more an indictment of our current bench, but yeah.
Bruce Bowen would like to have a word with you.
I miss Bruce more, but still.
Finley would be nice compared to garbage ass mason. no doubt about that. He can at least hit an open 3 for us.
man if only brent barry was more t rigger happy like bonner, then we wouldnt have this conversation too bad bonner has accuracy and %![]()
God me too. Badly.
lol. finley's been garbage for the celtics. he would've been the same for the spurs.
Straight up crazy talk. Finley would of been torched worse than Hill tonight.
Finley? lol He is the reason the Spurs got much better after the ASG. He was dragging the team down oncourt and offcourt. Bruce Bowen's defense and 3 point shot is huge against the Suns. In particular against Nash.
But yea, I'd take playoff Finley, D. Brown, and Barry easily over Mason.
I miss Bruce Bowen. And Robert Horry. And Brent Barry. Heck even Fabricio Oberto and Kurt Thomas. Finley, not so much but right now I want him over Mason.
Bowen, Barry, Kerr, Finley, Smith
in that order
Bowen, Barry, Kerr, Finley, Smith
in that order
Our rotation has such bad 3pt shooting![]()
This series, I miss Bowen more than ever. The Spurs don't have the defenders to guard Nash or JRich. Plus, you know that Bruce would be draining corner 3's.![]()
Finley causes more problems than he creates. Besides he is the one who asked to be released. Finley is done.
Unbelievable...
He barely even played.....
I miss David Robinson.
I don't miss Finley at all. He'd be an awful matchup against this Suns team and yet Pop would have played him significant minutes. Finley was even worse than Mason for this team this season. Replacing one worthless player with another won't solve the Spurs problems in this series.
Yuuuuup....
Yeah, I have no clue what Pop was thinking. Bruce was one of the few productive Spurs in the playoffs last season; I don't know why Pop thought he had nothing left in the tank.
If anything, I just miss the stability that guys like Bruce, Brent, and Rob gave us in 2007. Yes, they were old, but those guys had experience that players like Hill and Blair don't have. This year, we've had to rely more on these guys who are still pretty much untested.
