Joey is a good ref. Move on.
isn't working any games tonight. Possibility that we get him for tomorrows game![]()

Joey is a good ref. Move on.
Joe, , and Bennett should not be referees, them all.
Joe and Bennett are horrid. is actually one of my favs. He seems to know how to call the game and control the game in crunch time. thats just my opinion tho.
Right now I'm more concerned with the blown layups and point blank misses by the Spurs instead of who the refs are going to be.
Game 1 was full of them. I will admit some had to do with the Suns D but most were due to poor excecution IMHO. TD misses several at the rim shots that would have been and 1 situations. The Spurs seemed to play too fast/hesistantly and lack a certain kind of composure early on.
Right now I'm more concerned with Steve Nash scoring at the rim whenever he wants. If George Hill continues to start, the Spurs have a lot bigger problems than who's reffing the game.
The refs are my last worry...
I'd rather we get joey on the road anyway...
I'd rather have Joey on the road than at home.
joey has been fair the last 2 times guys...
I'm not worried about that.
It's reasonable that we lost to Mavs or Lakers when Joey officiating. But it's not reasonable if we lost to Suns with Joey officiating.
If we lost to Suns, it's just because we suck, not the refs.
Cant be worse than the Mauer-Salvatore combo...
Mauer is (and was last night) all over the place with poor calls. He's just not a good ref. Salvatore favors one team or the other and it seemed like he favored the Suns last night. There were some mind boggling calls. Overall they were on both sides and in my biased opinion they favored the Suns a bit.
They were both horrible for both teams all night long. The Bogans 'charge' was the epitome of how bad the reffing was. Salvatore made the right call, only to have it overturned by Mauer. Salvatore all of a sudden is running around telling everyone he was wrong, when the replays were showing he was right.
It was really a facepalm moment....
How about that out of bounds call where it was clearly off a Suns player?
I wouldn't mind seeing Joey for the simple reason that's he a competent ref when he's not holding grudges. I never thought I'd miss Steve ing Javie.
I'm almost 100% certain it's going to be Joey. Tomorrow night's game will be the 7th game played among the second round series. In the first 6, we've seen the other 6 chiefs -- Dan Crawford, Derosa, Foster, McCutchen, Rush, and Salvatore. Joey should, therefore have the next game in the lineup.
Since Spurs/Suns is (I think) the only game tomorrow night, it stands to reason that it is Joey's game.
It's official:
San Antonio @ Phoenix: Joe Crawford, Ron Garretson, Derrick Stafford
We will have to have the hand of God to help us tonight. All of these refs HATE the Spurs. The other two if you believe it or not are WORSE than joey.![]()
But I still believe.![]()
Garretson is solid. Again, refs won't win or lose the game. It's all on the spurs...
The Suns hate Crawford too. This should be interesting.
Which team doesn't hate this Charlie Brown looking mother er?
If Crawford is inevitable, it might as well be tonight. No more Salvatore or Crawford for the rest of this series is a very positive development.
Totally agree. Plus, as others have said, Crawford enjoys pissing off home crowds.
