    What's your take on this?

I read he's going to have it examined again (MRI). Third time from my understanding. Are you guys buying this? Or is this an excuse?

Cavs fans appears to be throwing the towel, but I find it hard to believe its really bothering him, or maybe it really does? Otherwise, why would he play lackadaisical on game 2? I understand that Boston's defense had something to do with it, but this is Lebron James we're talking about. If there's one guy who can destroy a defensive plan with relative ease, its him.

Another theory, LBJ is using this as a scapegoat, so in the event the Cavs lose he would have a legitimate reason to test FA and sign with another team ( I dont think so btw)

I know its something, just cant quite put my finger on it. I know its only one game but his body language is very suspect to me in Game 2. He's probably really hurt, really using it as an excuse or really can't wait to end this season to sign with a franchise (unlikely)

I'll think about it more after game 3. He had a 24, 7, 7 game or something like that and people are saying he had a poor game. I wish that was what I could put up on a bad night.

As far as I'm concerned, Boston just came in there and won. If LeBron does have a serious injury we will be able to tell in Games 3 and 4 because he'll have to play with some intensity in those games. For all we know he could have got lackadaisical in Game 2 because, well because he's on a stacked team.

Thats the thing though, he had a great game 1, so-so in game 2. I know he'll come out firing in the rest of the series. Im just appalled that his body language shows he's raising the white flag a bit. Very unsual of him.

Chris, Lebron is fine. He had an off game along with good D from the Celts. After this weekend, any remaining questions about his health will be silenced once and for all. He will have a beastly weekend in Boston. The real main concern is Mo Williams curling up in the fetal position/lack of a consistent number 2 guy. Shaq isn't that type of player anymore. Jamison is more of a 3rd option. Everyone else is occasional 3rd but mostly 4th options and above. IMO Gibson should be given Mo's minutes if he keeps this up. Gibson at least has proven himself in the playoffs. Even if the Cavs do win this series, these issues won't be going away especially against someone like Orlando.

Agree, I think Cleveland's chances hinges on Mo too, All Star MO like in Game 1 is the biggest X-Factor, when he's on fire, the Cavs are unbeatble. Jamison is really bothered by Boston's length in this series, I dont think he'll be any much more of a factor than what he's giving right now.

Cavs should ditch Shaq too, he was brought in for Dwight and Bynum, why Mike is setting ISO plays for him on the block is beyond me. Cleveland can counter Boston's defense by playing an uptempo role and by using and pushing their speed, Celtics wont be able to hang. At times, Lebron, Delonte or Mo, Varejao, Hickson and Jamario Moon lineup can accomplish this to build a lead.

He's just a pussy who's using it for an excuse. Players in Australia's biggest sporting league play through much worse injuries. He's just been too pampered the wit

For every player not named LeBron - "damn, a sprained elbow!"

For LeBron - "omfg he's such a faker!"

This isn't an injury he invented during the Playoffs; he has been seeking treatment on it for several weeks and it is one of the reasons he didn't play the last few games of the regular season.

Is it severe? Who the knows? Just like Kobe's finger, no one knows what the actual impact is.

Please post the quote(s) of LeBron complaining about his elbow. Every quote I've read has said otherwise, and he's specifically said it is not bothering hi game.

Let me know how that goes.

lebron is playing good in game 1 and he was running in fastbreak to block rondo in game 2 you dont jump and risk things like that if ur injured. then all of a sudden he injured again eventhough no one touch him or he did'nt had bad contact in that elbow?

Is that even in English? I'm assuming it's not your native language based on your user name, but Christ man, come on.

So, wait, because at times he doesn't look injured and at other times he does look injured, he's faking it?

Ok, so when Kobe had a long string of bad shooting games it was because of his finger, but when he had a good shooting game, he magically wasn't injured?

It seems you struggle with the concept of mutual exclusivity.

He's injured. Clearly. The guy's right arm is just hanging from its socket most of the time. He isn't taking outside shots and he's shying away from contact on the drive.

Citing his points scored: "Oh, he had 24 points, he's obviously healthy!" is a red herring. LeBron could score 20 points with two amputated legs. It's HOW he was playing that raises the alarm, not the box score.

Hate if you want. But I've watched damn near every game LeBron has played since he came into the NBA in 2003. To me he's obviously in physical duress, and it's serious.

I think it speaks volumes about Lebron's lack of mental toughness. When you have guys like Kobe playing with a broken finger on his shooting hand, and Nash with a bruised hip & vagina, I don't want to hear any excuses from the Prince.

When has LeBron used his elbow as an excuse? Mental toughness, really?

    He's averaging 31.1PPG (.544/.471), 8.6 RPG, 1.7 STL, 2.3 BLK, and 7.4 AST in the 2010 Playoffs.

Those stats really speak of someone who lacks "mental toughness".

So what exactly does he need an excuse for? Again, he's been tearing up the Playoffs (just like last year). It's his teammates (Mo, Shaq) that need to get up, not LeBron.

You're not good at this basketball analysis thing, are you?

Mo Williams is a small reason why the Cavs aren't down 0-2.

Mo Williams is a bigger reason why the Cavs are tied 1-1.

who cares i not born in usa, i try.

he not injured, he play great in both games but bostons defense lock lebron so well. lebron fans are using this elbow as excuse. if cleveland win, then they'll call lebron GREAT because he play through injury. double standard?

kobes bad shooting was because of knees and ankles. not finger. both are healing up well now and kobe made huge adjustment in his game thats why you see his last 4 games becoming ver very effective.

mo williams made run in third quarter.

lebron playing lack of passion is the reason cavs are not up 2-0. you dont blame a third option to save an mvp's team.
