Unbelievable. They didn't even tell him why he was arrested, as far as I can tell. This guy didn't resist arrest and was completely non-confrontational. They probably could have just sent two officers to his door and accomplished the same thing.

    Tax dollars hard at work.

"Whitworth was ultimately charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana and second-degree child endangerment (he ultimately pled guilty to a misdemeanor charge for possessing drug paraphernalia and paid a $300 fine according to Missouri's Case.net -- all other charges were dropped). The drug charges were apparently related to the discovery of what news reports described as "a grinder, a pipe and a small amount of marijuana." The child endangerment charge seems to be the result of Whitworth daring to be at home with his wife and seven-year-old son when the storm troopers burst in and shot two family dogs -- killing a pit bull and injuring a corgi."

that's a disgrace. I dont get how this could happen. If this happened in most of European countries, those police officers responsible for this would lose their jobs and put in jail, it would even happen in the first place over there. Stupid narrow minded dip s

I'd say it's defenseless when it's going up against a ton of SWAT officers each with fully loaded guns.

Yeah, I'm sure a pitbull could take out a heavily armed SWAT member who's probably wearing combat armor. A few of em would just be easier since he's a dangerous pitbull and all.

And SWAT's supposed to the the "best of the best" of law enforcement; elite mofo's.

But now some have been reduced to shooting dogs in front of a family to get their kicks.

That kind of deserves some jail time.

Two officers to serve a warrant on a known drug dealer? Riiiight.

Better yet. They should've called an hour in advance to make an appointment first.
