6-8 Million Contract For Schortsanitis?
The agent of Sofoklis Schortsanitis, Warren LeGarie gave an interview to goalday.gr where he basically says that this is probably the right time for the Greek big man to make the next step in his career and play in the NBA.
LeGarie said that the Clippers are quite satisfied with Schortsanitis’ progress both physically and mentally and he says that it is possible for Schortsanitis to get a contract of the order of 6-8 million dollars for 3 seasons. This is a contract of similar size to the one that Spanoulis got when he signed with Houston. Neil Olshey who is the new GM of the LA Clippers knows Schortanitis personally and that is a good thing for the possible transfer. LeGarie said that it’s up to Schortsanitis at the moment.
Sure, Spanoulis was such a phenomenal success in the NBA -- why wouldn't they just give Shortpantsitis the max right off the bat?
