    He won four rings because Tim Duncan was a great and unselfish player on both ends of the court for many, many years before age caught up with him.

    In my opinion, Popovich had nothing to do with it. You can see now that Duncan's skills have deteriorated that Popovich can't coach his way out of a paper bag.

    That would be the bag that should be over his head.

    Pop is a brilliant coach. Sad to see him get tossed under the bus by a few shortsighted folks just because of this year's debacle.

    If we didn't have PJ I would want PoP in a heartbeat to coach the Lakers.

    Class act, great coach, gets along with management and players. All good things come to an end. You are only as good as your players.
