I thought it would feel great, but it feels even better that Goran Dragic was the one who did the bukkakeing

I've seriously never felt this way about the Suns before. I was too young in '93 to comprehend their run to the championship and eventual fall to the Bulls. And there hasn't been a win all decade as big as this one, sadly.

I'm so programmed to expect failure in the playoffs, that this is something new... I'm actually confident the Suns can beat the Lakers. I don't expect to, but I think we have a chance.

This is my favorite Suns team ever. Even if we don't end up winning it all, or even making the Finals, I'm so ing proud of how the team is playing.

Same, and it's not even close. All the fans who stuck with the team through Porter last year have been rewarded with this.

The Suns ain't accomplished anything. They've done nothing but execute one of the mean's to the end. Without the end, it don't mean squat.

There's one winner. The remaining 29 teams are equal.

Just speaking as an impartial observer, I don't think I've ever seen a Phoenix team that has maximized its talent the way this one has. Not even the 1993 team, which had problems with inferior opponents in the Playoffs. Maybe the 1990 team that beat L.A. in the second round, but that's it.

It's a shame that the Suns are gonna get their pushed in by the Lakers but I will be rooting for them. We all knew before this series started that the winner gets a beatdown from LA, neither team has the frontcourt size to stay with them, and the Lakers have two capable lockdown perimeter defenders, so Dudley, Hill, Dragic...etc, all these guys are gonna fall back down to earth.

That's not me talking either. I'm rooting for the Suns to win the crown because it would be the best thing for everyone. Suns finally get a le, Lakers don't, Kobe doesn't, LeBron doesn't, Shaq doesn't...so it's all good. I just hope they keep playing with the confidence they have been because I'm gonna be pissed if they get raped by LA after putting the smackdown on us.

I'm really hoping the Suns pull it out in the West, and assuming the Celts fall (which I expect), that they win it all.

I won't cheer for the Magic or Lakers. I don't want to cheer for the Cavs.

When the Colts beat the Patriots in that one playoff game it was like getting free Ecstasy from God. These guys are gonna be straight tripping once Phoenix wins that 4th game.

You should be proud man. They're a good team and I truly think they have a good chance at the Lakers. They'll have to keep this play up but I think they'll have a chance. Cheers man.

I don't know... The Lakers have so much height that it negates amare and penetration by others. The suns will have to shoot the lights out to have a chance. Frye, Dudley, Jrich, and Dragic will have to deliver this series.

The one thing going for the Suns is they're getting a lot better figuring out how to play when the other team clogs the paint and focuses on shutting Amare down. Amare started the game 0-5 and then made the right adjustments not worrying about the fact he only scored 7 points, also his D has been in ridiculous in this series. The last time Phoenix lost to LA, Amare started hot and then the team had no idea what to do when LA started to focus on him.

Suns fans: Do you guys think possibly D'Antoni was the guy holding your team back? With all his Ron Burgundy foot stomping on the sidelines, it seems maybe this team is alot more at ease and confident with Gentry's approach to things. But then again I haven't seen this team nearly as much has you have.

It's becoming blatantly obvious D'antoni was behind almost everything that went wrong with this team. When he left this team was a mess and looked like it was on its way to getting worse, now it's a team that's gonna make the WCF and outside of Nash and Hill is a young team.

Agreed. They have a shooter's chance. If those guys go nuts, all bets are off. Comes down to their long-range shooting.

Horse . You all swore up & down you'd a won it that year Horry put Nash into the sideboards. One doesn't have to cast D'Antoni down in order to laud Gentry.

Everyone keeps talking about the Lakers' frontcourt size, but if Robin Lopez comes back, then the Lakers height advantage that everyone is talking about is not that significant:

    SF: Artest 6-7, Hill 6-8

    PF: Gasol 7-0, Amare 6-10

    C: Bynum 7-0, Lopez 7-0

And the tallest guy off the Lakers' bench (that actually plays) is Lamar Odom.

Horse . Afore I shuttered the AZ Central Board I handed down The Spisak Manifesto.

    It goes like this:

    1. Make the playoffs.

    2. Win the last game you play.

    There is nothing else.

Note (1.) is just the requisite means to the (2.). If you can't accomplish two you join the other 29 teams in the loser corral.

And that's just the way it is.

That incident is another thing relating to D'antoni. Greg Popovich's bench didn't flinch, D'antoni's bench was in chaos and he had not prepared his staff at all to handle the situation. Another example of his unprofessional coaching.
