    Gatekeepers to in what?

Waiting until the Celtics come calling to open up and let them rob you?

And you guys have no in' second dynasty. You're basically the new Detroit Pistons, 1 and 1 in the Finals does not equal Dynasty.

You'll get there again and then be 1-2, while making men out of either King James or the Orland Magic. You might get there next year and then lose again.

    Great in dynasty.

Face reality. No one is beating the east champ this year.

Forget seeds. Kobe was playing on a team with absolutely no help. Smush, Mihm, Kwame, and Luke were his starters. Duncan has Manu, Parker, Hill, Dice, Blair. We overachieved in that series and finally collapsed. The Spurs have been on big giant let down the entire season, and they were suppose to be a top 4 team and are getting swept.
You guys didn't overachieve. You were beating an injury riddled team that played NO defense. A team that had NO frontline (Kurt Thomas was their starting center for Christ's sake ). A team that had choker Shawn Marion as their 2nd best player and Odom was outplaying him. Once LA went up 3-1 in that series they had no excuses. Laker fans thought the series was in the bag and were already talking about the Clippers in the 2nd round . And to make matters worse in the closeout Game 6 in Staples the Suns were missing their best "defender" Raja Bell because he was suspended for clotheslining Kobe which depleted them even further. Suns had no business winning that game or the series.

    Your boy has 1.

Along with a Finals chokejob, a ty shooting percentage, and a 39 point beatdown.

Lakers fans tend to be morons and thus have short attention spans.

They have very short memories and futilely attempt to rewrite history when ever possible.

Like the way they try to diminish Shaq's impact during the 3 peat to prop up Mr. 40%.

    It's what they do.

    You need some reading lessons.

What excuses have I made for the Spurs losing to the Suns? What whining have I done?

I started a thread stating simply that the Suns are the better team.

Don't confuse my Laker hate with anger about the Suns series turned out.

I always hate the Lakers. The Spurs could win 100 ships in a row and I'll still bash the in' Lakers and troll their fairweather, moron fans.

Kobe has proven to be better than Duncan with, and without Shaq. That must really hurt your sore ass.

Also; How do we all like our crow about Fisher, fellow Laker fans? I can't think of anyone who supported this guy. There are still two more series after this one, but he's been ing clutch.

    1-0.

    What's Nash's record against the Lakers? What's Pierce's?

You see how meaningless that argument is.

Fish doesnt hit in the regular season...When the playoffs start his clutch gene comes alive or some , its pretty crazy haha. He shot almost 50% from three vs OKC too.

You rae funny the Kobe stuff in particular is hilarious ... but let's see last time Lakers and spurs met 4-1 ... this year yall failed to make it just like last year ...

yall had a nice littl min-dynasty and are firmly the 4th best NBA franchise be proud!

But we have bigger fish to fry ...
we TRYING to catch those little green goblins ...
your "so-called rivalry" with us was (much like the sixers lakers one in the ealy 80's) ... was fun while it lasted

But in the end the cream rises to the top ...

We won before Kobe with Kobe and will win AFTER kobe ...can yall say the same AFTER Duncan?

Kobe has been so great that no one will even remember Duncan. People will say like..."remember that guy that used to play for the Spurs."
    Same old .

    Come with a real argument.

    3 Finals MVPs to 1.

Great Finals performances to not a 1.

Better overall stats throughout each player's respective playoff careers.

But yeah, Kobe is the media's loverboy, so I understand your point.

You also probably think Lady Gaga is a better artist than Miles Davis.

So, Shaq had nothing to do with those wins, then?

Or in 08, Gasol had nothing to do with those wins?

So funny how you Kobe suckers always conveniently leave out Shaq in the equation.

I said some good things about him a while ago, and got the usual sarcastic slime and personal attacks.

I don't like the Lakers, I don't like Fisher, but damn he's like a force of nature in the playoffs with those friggen clutch shots.

    Really could care less.

I'm a SoCal native in a family of Celtics fans. Rather than root for the two most bandwagon franchises of all time, which would be quite easy given where I grew up and who raised me, I chose to go a different route. Dug David Robinson, so I latched on to the Spurs.

Small market team, so you have to accept the fact that there will many rough patches ahead. I completely realize this and it doesn't bother me. I'll still enjoy the team no matter what.

And you know what, feels a of a lot better than cheering for the in' Lakers. I could care less about their 10 les and "future" success.

You know why? They're the in' Lakers, the most annoying franchise with the most annoying fans in all of sports history.
