Refs got this on lockdown. The only way the Spurs will win is if they have a huge lead going into the 4th...and even then, they still might get hosed.

Nothing has changed with the team. Same story as every single game so far. Suns hitting big time shots when it matters and the Spurs killing themselves by playing stupid.

we keep rotating off the 3 point line to help the paint, as we dont have any bigs other than Duncan who can help defend the paint.
That's the thing that's been killing you guys the WHOLE series. Maybe it's time to change that strategy a bit. Play straight up and stick to your man.

    damn Hill, that was pathetic

I just want to remember one thing. We were up 21-12, Blair missed a OPEN layup and it's downhill since then. Thanks Blair, nice job

Suns are 3-12 from 3-point land. That means we're ed because they will shoot at least 75% for the rest of the game to match their series average.

Bonner's gonna have to play the entire second half if the Spurs stand a chance.

But yeah, this game just feels like more of the same.

i feel so bad for the big 3, all of them are bandaged at some part of their bodies, and they are saddled with teammates who have no heart, no pride.

Refs making us miss FTs, layups, throw the ball away, leave suns shooters wide open?

We've never been a good ft shooting team, the Spurs are just not playing with any sense of urgency in a closeout game, that's depressing. It's win or go home and guys are afraid especially Hill and Jefferson. And Mason is bringing nothing as usual. Put in Temple.

Man they really have our number and you can tell they are hungry to sweep.
Can't blame them, really. The Lakers are going to be hard enough to beat but a well rested Lakers team would be a nightmare.

We are seeing a hugh character problem with these guys. Hill and Balir should be giving their all and they are acting like Clippers. Manu too doesn't seem to have it. The fans of the Spurs deserve better from this loafers.

Disturbingly bad transition defense and embarrassingly bad offense.

George Hill standing at the top of the key, picks up his dribble and no one moves for 3 seconds...?

I am not normally a Popp basher but, how the does that even happen in an NBA game? The more tired Duncan is the predictably inefficient our offense is.

I've never seen a team defend Tim so well. Gentry knows his . Hill is worthless.

I wouldn't give gentry too muc credit. This isnt exactly the dominant Duncan of years past.

But that actually makes sense. Not to mention Mcdyess can guard guys like Frye and Dudley because all they do is sit at the 3 point line and wait. If Pop wants to give them the shots, then Dice is in the paint to protect. If he wants to play them straight up Dice shouldn't have any trouble staying with those softies.

Blair hasn't turned the ball over 9 times

This team is ready to roll over and die it seems. If the suns get a significant lead then this one's over.

F'n , was that Mavs series fools gold or what?

We have NO BUSINESS being in the playoffs, and would've have been much better off hitting the lottery.

And BTW, if Manu can only blow hot and cold at this stage in his career, resigning him was a huge mistake.

Hot one day, ty the next, that's mediocrity.

That's what I've been saying all series. The Suns sometimes don't even look like they want to take a 2 the way they keep kicking it back out.
