We've got a lot to do this offseason.
We've got a lot to do this offseason.
I only ask for three things for the second half:
- Dont fold like in the last game
- Pop, don't wave the white flag before it's over
- Play your best guys. That means more Dice and Hill instead of RJ and Bonner
The Suns are playing with no hesitation in their game.
The Spurs are hesitant in offense and even in defense. That's why they seem to be a step slow in defense and the Sun a step faster in offense.
The lack of rebounding/hustle against an equally small/soft Phoenix 2nd unit and missed FT's can't really be pinned on Pop though.
I just don't get Pop's love affair with ty players this season.
The Suns smell blood. They know in their hearts that this series is over tonight. The 4th quarter will be a blowout. Suns by 15-20.
Need a breakout 2nd half to send this one back to Phoenix from at least 2 players.
At this point, should we rest the big 3 at all? I'd say play them the entire second half...
The bright side is this is the (hopefully) the last time I have to see Bonner and RMJ in a Spurs uniform.
Also, I am ready for a trade that takes Blair with RJ for a capable big or replacement SF. I agree most of this needs to be blown up.
I think this is more indicative of what's been going wrong.
Hill has not received one freakin break from the officials this entire series - he's being treated like a rookie and the Slav is allowed to travel and push off. That was a charge on the Slav in the first half and Nash fouled Hill going to the basket and the whistle is swallowed. The Suns neither need nor deserve the extra help. BS.
You reach a point where no matter how great a coach you are, the players tune you out. But the Spurs are so professionally tight-lipped about what goes on behind the scenes, that it's just speculation to suggest that he's lost the players.
This is unreal. Spurs have done nothing different to adjust, and not surprisingly, the Suns are in the same damn spot. Spurs should not be down 3-0 if you look at the stats/starts. But they keep killing themselves and the Suns are killing them as well. That is a double whammy and explains the bad recurring nightmare that is this series.
Pop's gotten caught up in trying to out-small ball Phoenix.
The horrible FTs are a mental weakness that extends to the rest of the game.
I don't know..Bonner played well last game and he's playing well in this game..they'll probably re-sign him now..
It seems the mavs serie was a total fluke and don't come with the matchups blabla... the suns are not just slightly better they are destroying us
