should be a good series...of course the Lakers need to get out of Utah first.
I was hoping i'd get to see Dallas matchup vs LA but this is definitely an intriguing series.
Phoenix beat LA two years in a row before they got Gasol but it might not mean anything now. I think Phx will give them problems on the PnR, but they ultimately will have no answer inside for the Twin Towers.
The Suns have been playing well as of late but LA is a different kind of animal then SA. I think every game will be close due to PHX's shooting ability but ultimately....
Lakers in 6
should be a good series...of course the Lakers need to get out of Utah first.
On paper the Suns don't seem to match up well with the size of the LA frontline, especially without having another big to eat up minutes in Lopez. But they are playing really well right now, so we'll see...Should be a great series.
According to everyone in Spurstalk..... Dallas, Denver and San Antonio we're the threats to the Lakers all year....please dont try to convince us that the Suns are now. lol
Testify, MACHINE, testify!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
the 3 will be dangerous. but then again the lakers are the best at defending it.
Congrats to the Suns and their fans for reaching the WCF. Good job taking care of business tonight, finally beating your nemesis. We'll be seeing you guys shortly, for what should be a very fun series.
Ya idiot.
Not gonna happen. Back when Pho could beat LA there was not Gasol and Bynum clogging up the middle. LA is too big. Back then you could let Kobe go nutz and still beat them. No longer the case, he doesn't even have to go nuts now that Gasol can pick up the slack.

Look at the Lakers getting blown out in Salt Lake City!!!!
So, Paul, your capitulating to O & 42?
Should be a hard fought series.
Don't get all delicate on us now, Banzai.
Odom will get alot more minutes than Bynum IMO. Also, Suns are a little longer than the Jazz.
Lakers have a big edge in the frontcourt, but the Suns have a big edge in the perimeter.
Question will be if the Suns can slow down Gasol and if the Lakers can defend the Suns perimeter game.
This is going to suck, Spurs fans are tolerable, Laker fans less than any other team...
Anyway, the suns need to get real creative with rotations and it looks like Lopez is not an option. Barkley is right, they need to run and gun, but Perhaps spread the floor out an try to force the bigs on LA to rotate maybe opening up the long ball. Amare is going to have a rough time this series.
Yup, Lakers fans act like we've been talking all year.
That's just your ESPN upbringing, Paul. We're no more a than any other fandom.
Now, Paul, are you, or, are you not stipulating to O & 42?
It'll be interesting. Twin towers/best closer vs. small ball/arguably the hottest team since the all-star break.
Suns need Robin Lopez back. Jarron Collins aint gonna cut it.
