I remember walking out of the theater after a date screaming "Man! I can't believe the boat sank!" and getting furious looks and "shut ups" from the audience waiting in line. Best part of the flick.

It wasn't so much that I was giving something away so much as saying something everyone already knew within the context I delivered the line. Walking out of the theater talking about the movie, most people are going to be on edge about hearing something from the film. Then the way I said it, almost as if I was giving away the ending and people got riled. Such was the intention... Still puts a smile on my face.

I knew it going in. It was a joke on my part to the schmucks waiting in line. It was an asshole thing to do, but I'm an asshole. In the end I didn't give anything away that people didn't already know. And if I blew a surprise for the idiots, well, they deserved it for being idiots.
