Pure all the way to a repeat![]()
The Lakers are pure and IMO are the weakest of all teams left.
Second from the bottom is Boston.
Then Cleveland.
Orlando is a matchup nightmare for Cleveland in spite of the conventional wisdom that Turkoglu was the main X-factor in Orlando's ECF victory last year. Also I think as a club they have a deep-rooted hatred for Cleveland.
By the way, I took my mom out for lunch today at a sports bar and we watched the last half of the Bos/Cle game. How far has NBA officiating slipped? Cle gets an enormous boost from both non- and phantom calls and anyone who says otherwise is a ing re . Normally I'd never sympathize with Boston but what I saw today was so atrocious that to not feel for them is to sit by idly while a great sport devolves to the level of WWE.
Had that officiating been fair CLE would have lost by 20. If the whole series had been called fairly BOS would be up 3-0 and that's a fact jack.
A healthy Jameer Nelson balances out the offense Hedo brought to the team last year and he has a better chemistry with Dwight Howard. Vince Carter will be the x-factor....he has to make himself into a serious offensive threat. I liked the Matt Barnes pickup a lot and he's bringing to the Magic what he brought to Golden State during that "Magical" run in 2007.
son if Gasol isn't having a good game the Lakers are ed. selfish ass Kobe AKA "the glorified Paul Pierce" won't lead his team to without a big man holding his hand every step of the way.
Stan "the master of panic" Van Gundy winning a championship? Hard to believe.
If the Heat could win a championship with Antoine Walker.....
Pat Riley. Magic are not winning it.
For all the "Master of Panic" talk regarding Stan, he got the Magic to regroup from several potentially catostrophic losses in each series they played leading up to the Finals, and despite the series tally they were very much in the series with the Lakers.
They'll have to get their first, like the other remaining teams, but they're a threat.
Anybody with an ounce of compunction coulda beat that Mavs team. Showin' up in South Florida with lingerie on. They were beggin' to get ed.
Still a good team, but they indeed became mentally inept at the sight of D-Wade beyond Game 3.
Orlando looks like the best team in the NBA currently, but than again wasnt Cleveland steamrolling through everyone last year as well? How'd that turn out.
It's possible but they haven't played any contenders yet. How they play against Cleveland or Boston will be the first time they played a good team. Atlanta is nothing compared to them.
I thought you left, asshole?
I was thinking the same thing to myself earlier and this very well could wind up being a repeat of that situation.....the main difference is that Cleveland was a one-man team in essence. The Magic have had arguably their best player in foul trouble for much of the playoffs and have built up leads, whereas the Cavs needed LeBron to get the ball rolling before they could runaway with games.
Magic will win the le.
They will go on to sweep the Hawks.
They will go on to beat the Cavs in 6.
Then last but not least they will beat the Suns in 6.
me?
i could never leave you cubby <3
2-11, how'd that turn out. SWEPT!
Spurs
sons the Magic will win the Leastern Conference championship. there has never been any doubt about that .... but the NBA le? LMAO! .... like I have said, the Suns got this on lock.
The only thing the Magic have shown in this year's playoffs is that the Eastern Conference is about as talented as the WNBA. They haven't had to play a single interesting game all playoffs thus far. They might make it to the Finals, but they haven't proven . Let's see how they fare against the Cavs before proclaiming them anything.
Myself, I would be scared to death if my team relied on Vince Casper -- er, Carter -- in a big playoff series.
"I know for a fact that he's a master of panic, and when it gets time for his team to go in the postseason and do certain things, he will let them down because of his panic....Flopping would describe his coaching"

LOL, Shaq just mad he got called out by SVG....and for flopping of all things.
Van Gundy is a bit of a master of panic. Of the remaining teams, the Magic are the worst team when it comes to finishing off close games.
Magic are great when all's going well and they're up 20; but when it gets close, they don't execute.
Shaq said it, so it must be true.
The truth is, SVG is a really good coach.
