He hardley had the ball, it always was in Manu's hands!! Even in this last game Manu just didnt have it but tried to force the issue!

I think that there isnt enough ball to go around havin the big three & Jefferson! mayb if we incorporate more plays for him he mayb more productive. ....IMHO.
I was agreeing with that sentiment in my last post, I have also been just as troubled with his lack of consistency in finishing at or around the rim, especially in pressure situations. It hurt us in the last two games.

But again, while he's in SA (if he's with the Spurs come the first tip-off) they should make use of what he can do when put in certain favorable situations.

we better keep RJ, his value now is very low so if we will try to trade him we only get weaken, keep him and hope he will improve next season with one year on this team.
generally is no need for dramatic changes because the disappointed, we have good base.
Hill need to work hard on his defense but it's still good 3 guards rotation with Parker-Manu-Hill that we should build on.
we have Splitter coming as a big that protect the paint and score down low, also Blair is gonna to improve with more experience that will give Duncan and McDyess a lot of rest during the season.
we have Nando De Colo rights and we should go hard to bring him this year cause he can play, he is a combo guard and we need depth badly - we didn't have bench this playoff, we need to split the MLE on Splitter and on him.
we also have the twentiethpick in the draft and we should get a good player hopefully it will be Paul George - he is athletic SF who could stroke the three, very good fit.
with the LLE we should go on Raja Bell, he could give defense on both wing positions, shooting and a playoff experience, will be big upgrade over Mason and Bogans.
i also want to keep Ian cause i'm still belive in his talent, i don't want to feel that we miss him.
if we go with this plan we would have nice team for next season:
    Parker/Hill/De Colo
    Ginobili/Raja Bell/Temple
    Jefferson/Paul George
    McDyess/Blair/Mahinmi
    Duncan/Splitter

Ian does two things a good amount that worry me, particularly given his role as a big: travels & fouls. He needs to play defense without fouling and better footwork, otherwise his athleticism is useless. Just have to wonder how much time the team is going to be wiling to continue to invest in him.

I'm not saying the Spurs won't make the investment into Ian, but it is getting later in the Duncan era.

Dwight is still developing his game offensively, but he's made himself more of a defensive/rebounding force around the rim every year and both he and Bynum have both been pretty good with putting themselves in great position to score at the basket even before they got with the names you mentioned.

Blair I believe has a great upside and I know Ian has athleticism, but beyond that i'm not sure.

Blair's a great compe or with a big heart, a great guy.

Blair had a fun couple of games, but even with his big reach, he's too small for C or PF. He's the inside guy who was dominant in HS, damn good in college, but too damn small to play a big in the pros. Other bigs block him, and shoot over him

This is sort of misleading he can be effective but not dominate I really think of him as a 20 minute bench guy who will get you 10 and 10 night in and night out in that time. The other team will get some scores with him in there depending on the match-ups but he'll pace them on some teams and show up the subs on others. Wallace is undersized as well but effective as his foot work improves Blair is that guy a little less dominate on defense, alot the same on the boards much better on offense.

Blair is a lot like Malik Rose was as far as what he is/will be able to do. Malik was able to do a pretty good job on some bigger guys just because of his aggressiveness. I look for Blair to have a similar career as he continues to improve his play, which is no bad deal for the Spurs.
