already over it
I am going to masturbate while I cry for the entire summer.
I'm headed to work and will come home and spend time with my daughter. I won't even think about it unless someone at work mentions it.
Turn my attention to football (soccer).
true.. i am a bit over it already, too.
this was an easy loss to swallow, considering we weren't going to get past the Lakers.
i'd rather lose to the Suns than the Lakers.
I can't settle down until I know whether or not McDyess will retire. Had the Spurs gone deeper into the playoffs I would think his returning next season would be a garuntee. But because of this showing against the Suns, I can see him deciding he's never going to get a ring and move on. He's not playing for the money anymore. And when he's done, my interest in the NBA is going to significantly decrease.
To think that this game 4 might have been his last makes me feeel a little sick.
If, he decides to stay then I'm really looking forward to next season and hoping there are measures taken to strengthen the team. I feel like McDyess will have a better regular season showing now that he's getting more comfortable with the system. I'd be happy with him starting but hope the team has improved it's roster enough that he can be the first big off the bench.
Eating KFC Double Downs and singing Nickelback songs.
Watching games when we had a bench: Barry, Kerr...
Well at least we can watch the playoffs now without sweating through our shirts now. I can actually sit and eat while watching a game verses drinking. lol
waiting for the European Rugby final and... the Soccer World Cup!
+ reading the Think Tank to keep dreaming
Might go look back at the 2003 Spurs DVD
right now trying to see if I can get my AVY back...![]()
I'll be taking some time off from the NBA. I've turned off the basketball related newsfeeds on Facebook, and I'll just be concentrating on my teenage son's club teams for now![]()
Nothing, absolutely nothing.
I'm over it already.![]()
The moment the game ended I honestly put it behind me. I'll think about the Spurs I guess sporadically when news pops up, otherwise I'm too busy to concern myself until next season tips off! Having a wonderful wife and precious nine month old daughter, work and ministry take up just about all of my time anyway. Too bad the Spurs couldn't get it together against Phoenix, but its just sports, life goes on.![]()
I was rather surprised by the sweep, wuz hoping for a Spurs/Lakers WCF.
Already over it as well
Actually, while watching game 2, I knew it was over.
Spurs looked like they already ran out of gas.
Plus, losing to Nash is not that bad.
I will be moping for a few days. Then, I will watch my old vids of all the great victories and feel a little better.
When the playoffs are over, then I will be over it. I tend to take the playoff eliminations hard, but it is not as bad as say 2004.
I'm still not fully over it.
Oh well till next season

The elimination is somewhat a relief
Rooting for the Spurs for the last 3 seasons has been very stressful : the injuries, the offensive droughts, Timmy missing FT's, the D gradually getting bad, Pop's re ed rotations...
Still in shock that the Spurs could lose to the ing Suns in 4 straight. I thought the team had at least a compe ive series in them after seeing them handle Dallas, but it's pretty clear Dallas wasn't the team we thought they were.
What's all this bobbins about sweeping? I know thou people across the pond hae a bunch of fecking traditions, taking care of y'r laughing gear, bathing and such (I always get a stonking laugh envisioning such a thingamijig ), but I was unaware of the housecleaning tradition.
Anyroad, I've put the Game 4 loss behind me and I'm ready for they lads to lace em up and try again for Game 5. I keep telling thou this, but the Spurs are going to be all right. They've got the jomblies coach in the NBA and they've got 4 rings with him at the helm, tossers!
Hae a little faith and enjoy the ride! I'm orf to the boozer to toss back some ale and get ready for the game.
toodle pip!
Ecstatic to the fact that we will never see Mason, Bogans and maybe Bonner in a Spurs uniform, and if the Stars align properly maybe...........Jefferson? Also sad that perhaps (possibly) will never see the Big three play together anymore.
Studying a lot, following the draft and the rest of the playoffs, watching international bb games this summer and of course the worldcup football.
I'm good. I've been watching the Astros since opening day so I'm used to seeing my teams get swept.
