I like Nash. He deserves to win an NBA championship.
Is Steve Nash the toughest player in the NBA…That eye gash was nasty yet he played through & got the job done…The guy is hockey tough...![]()
I like Nash. He deserves to win an NBA championship.
I remember late in the game Bonner took a 3 and..... missed...
on the next play the suns brought in back and Nash took a 3, with one eye half shut, and nailed it...
He's a warrior that's for sure.
waiting for someone to latch on to the bait.....
Yes, very shocking indeed that Nash with only one eye is better than the Red Rocket. Normally, Bonner comes up big in money games.
Maybe we should have tried a no-eyed Bonner. It may have added just enough confusion to pull it off.
Nash is a great player, but there's still no excuse for allowing him to dessimate us the way he did.
We've handled him numerous times in the past, but in this series it was as though Popovich made a deal with Nash and said, "We'll let you do anything you want. The entire floor is yours. We're not going to double you, or beat you up, or deny you the ball, or hinder you in any way. Here's the scalpel - now go to work, carve us up as you wish."
I agree. It's as inexcusable as not using spellcheck.
The best way to describe my relationship to Nash is to use the exact words as Poppovich did: "I hate him, but he's classy."
Nash grew up playing hockey; there's no doubting his toughness. Word has it that they found him in the locker room rubbing dirt into his eye to stop the bleeding.
Was that before or after he did his own s ches with jersey thread?
