That is a terrible trade for the Spurs.

Bibby/Gill
Manu/Hairston
Williams/Jefferson
Duncan/Blair
Splitter/Mcdyess
That is a terrible trade for the Spurs.
at best, that is a lateral move. Does nothing to improve the Spurs.
You dont trade just for the sake of trading.
Mike Bibby ing sucks...how about NO.![]()
If by lateral you mean going way backwards, then yes.
We want to make the team better, not worse.
josh smith would be awesome but the hawks would say ya
that's my dream trade right there. parker for josh smith straight up. he's exactly the kind of dynamic defensive big man we need and one of the few in the league i'd actually deal parker for.
(although i think splitter can be the defensive, mobile 4 we need as well)
if the hawks could somehow retain joe johnson i think him and parker could play well together. if not then parker and crawford would be a pretty sick guard rotation as well with bibby coming off the bench. if joe johnson walks, atlanta could certainly use tony's potential 20/7 to offset their missed backcourt production.
this makes no sense at all. you should just stop posting.
and parker isn't and shouldn't go anywhere. stop with this nonsense.
would also like al jefferson next to timmy....but it wont happen
What you need next to Duncan is a quick-footed athlete. A Tyrus Thomas. Not another slow-footed big like Al Jefferson. It amazes me so many Spurs fans still believe Duncan can be paired with another center.
Oh, horrible deal. Bibby is probably the worst defensive PG in the league. Bottom 3 for sure. And his offensive game has declined big time, can't create by driving into the lane, doesn't break down defenders of the bounce anymore and he was always more of a creator than a good game manager.
what are the celtics upto this offseason....
I don't want to make fun of you or discourage you. You just have to understand that trades in the NBA are incredibly difficult for a mul ude of reasons. If you stick around and observe, you will learn a lot.
Williams is a borderline bust going coming off a bad season and a much worse playoffs, and Bibby's too old. Why have two Jeffersons on the team? Enough with players on the wrong side of 30 too.
I have no idea, but personally I'd blow up the team even if they win it all. Trade Garnett + Pierce + Wallace + let Ray Allen walk + trade Glenn Davis + shop Perkins for a late lottery pick. Throw the MLE at Amir Johnson or Tyrus Thomas, draft Paul George, put some athletes around Rondo and hire a guy like Paul Silas if Doc doesn't want to stay.
Anyway, our off-season hasn't started yet.
u guys have a deep bench but i think doc doesnt trust most of the guys..
Yeps, it'll probably take that to make Toronto blink.
Pfffffffft. You are crazy imo. He would be lucky to get a raise.
It makes a lot more sense to trade for Chris Paul and James Posey of the Hornets for Parker and Jefferson.
