I thought this article a bit disjointed. He starts off by slamming Koh's support for drones, but doesn't come back to WHY it's not a good reason until the very end, pretty much glossing over the argument.
The middle is filled with drivebys of Obama appointees, taking them to task for single issues/instances instead of a more sustantive look.
Finally, it's perfectly logical to believe that drone strikes are legally authorized while still being against enhanced interrogation.
I think if the author had focused on one subject (Koh, drones, overview of general sameness of Bush policies) he could have produced a much tighter piece.
