If Bosh is set on leaving, Toronto would want an expiring contract and young talent or high draft picks. Parker is not going anywhere.

RJ with a combination of Hill, Blair, or Splitter should work. Toronto will get an expiring contract with two young proven talents. I would hate to lose Blair or Splitter, but Bosh is better. And as good as Hill is, he is not a PG and we still have Manu.

You hear Dallas will be in the running for free agents. Who can they offer thats better?
It would have to be one or the other, not both Hill & Blair...we can throw in our draft pick & take a second rounder back or something.

off you and all you that come up with remarks like this one.

You guys sound like old conservative Republicans who try to say no to everything and want good results out of it.

I'll be the first to admit that its a long shot but not as long as one may think. Tony Parker plus fillers for Chris Bosh sign and trade for the maximum money is a very possible trade and one that would benefit all 3 parties involved (Raptors, Spurs, and Chris Bosh) and all you nay sayers will be remembered on this board for being re ed for trying to bring this idea down if it develops. What will you say then?

-No Im not a Mavs fan, never in my life.
    -I don't troll.
-This topic started as a question of when was the first and last day the Raptors could explore a trade that brought Bosh to SA and sent Parker and Jefferson/Fillers to the Rapotors.

But like always people who think they have god-given rights in this board come in and try to be assholes and shut down any possibilities that their small brains could not think about.

...It's going to be a long offseason.
    very realistic scenario

    parker is going no where
    now hill and rj maybe

    but not for bosh
    RC
Regarding TP and whether a subsequent extension would be forthcoming:

RC stated that TP's extension wouldn't be the focus over the summer. The immediate focus would be improving the team. Because TP has an expiring contract, along with RJ, he is sure that would generate interest by some teams. While he has no plans of trading TP, he knows the phone would ring and that the FO would answer the call and listen.

to the OP, if you are Bosh, where would you want to play?

i'd say Dallas would be #1 on his list as he gets to go home, join a contender and enjoy the best facilities and perks cuban's money can buy...and dallas would have the ammo for a sign and trade somehow, no?

or 2nd choice, join wade. either in miami or wherever that may be...

Superstar FAs want no part of SA. We all know this by now.

It's draft them, or trade for a disgruntled one that is under contract...period.

    period i said!

I'm no expert on the matter, but is there a CBA that will restrict this trade to happen?

*seriously I have no clue as to what I'm talking/asking about*

Once again, bump this post whenever you find genuine speculation that the Spurs are trying to package Parker for Bosh. I'll be glad to eat crow.

Otherwise, just be glad this post will eventually disappear into the oblivion of the internet.

On a separate note, it's probably best if you didn't take this whole forum thing too seriously.

With what cap space? Bosh isn't going anywhere for less than the max...
    With a trade.

I'll stay on topic and leave others to comment on your rant. The main problem with your scenario is the assumption that this trade would benefit the Raptors.

The Raptors already are on the hook for 3yrs/30M to their current PG. Any trade that has a 13M PG going to Toronto has to have Calderon going out.

So then you say just expand the trade and send RJ with TP for Bosh and Calderon. Problem is Toronto already has a massively overpaid SF on their roster as well, so that trade doesn't benefit Toronto either.

For Bosh to get to a team without cap space, like any of the Texas teams, requires Toronto's cooperation. They'll get better offers than TP+RJ for Bosh+Calderon. Dallas and Houston can both make better offers, especially Dallas which can use Dampier's contract to make an ugly contract like Hedo or Calderon completely disappear.

If we can make that trade then we will be the 2010-2011 NBA Champions. If Splitter is here i would add Dice too if they want..

After Kwame for Pau Gasol everything could happen. The problem is that we are not the Fakers.

While you make a good point, I do think that a package that includes the Spanish League MVP Splitter would be more palatable for the Raps than one that gets Dampier for financial savings.

If the Raps dont bite on TP+RJ for Bosh+Calderon, they could bite for TP+RJ+Splitter for Bosh+Calderon. They are basically getting three starters for the loss of one and a half. TP is a major upgrade over Calderon and Splitter would be a welcome investment at center for the future. For the Spurs, they get a decent sixth option in Calderon who is a good pass first and turnover free player and a superstar in Bosh, who could blossom further in the company of an ageing Tim. A starting lineup of Bosh+Hill+Ginobili+Duncan+(Defensive free agent/First Round Pick- Raja Bell?) with Calderon, McDyess, Blair on the bench + others seems a good enough bet for next season and more.
