Bro, any team can do sign and trades. It is a matter of having something they want.
The Clippers have a nice amount of talent, that Lebron could walk right into and he will be in LA to possibly create one of the best rivalries between Lakers and Clippers.
The Nets have young talent, a super rich owner, and Jay Z. Plus he could make Brooklyn his own playground.
There are a lot of possibilities that can't be dismissed.
Only one team has 7 point ecstasy
I already told you I'm never posting again if that happens and I'm giving you the password to my account. Have fun.
On the flip side if it becomes known that Cleveland refuses to do a sign and trade with Dallas, I'm making mono my .
sons what is 40 PT?
EDIT: I'm assuming you're referring to the 40 point game 7 point ecstasy hd against the worst defensive team in the league. Dragic nutting up SA is more impressive.
If you can bload someone for Lebron coming, you should be equally as scoffed for being a huge duemass if you are wrong.
I'm convinced he resigns with the Cavs or goes to Chicago to team up with Rose and Noah. But I think there's a chance, and if he wants to make it happen, it will.
I think the Clippers can be dismissed on multiple grounds - ownership situation, stepchild tenant in the Lakers building. It would be a much different situation if they played at the Pond in Anaheim and had a different owner.
I'll say the LeBron Derby is down to the following teams - Cavs, Bulls, Knicks, Nets, Heat and Mavs.
sans the Mavs and you'll have the likely destinations of LeBron...
So it's the team that has bird rights to Lebron, 4 teams that have the cap room to sign Lebron, and then randomly a team that doesn't have the cap room to sign Lebron
more evidence Mavfan is the only group that thinks there's even a .1% chance he ends up in Dallas.
There's no point in having any kind of discussion on this with you when you don't understand how LeBron has all the leverage, not the Cavs. Maybe if every fan was like you and ignorantly and reflexively blamed the team for trading away their best player instead of losing him for nothing, then I could see the Cavs absolutely refusing to participate in a S'n'T at the risk of alienating such fair-weather front-runners.
They will do what is in the best interests of their franchise. Plan A is convincing LeBron to sign an extension. Plan B is negotiating a soft landing if he won't.
There is a possibility that LeBron ends up in Dallas. I've already spelled it out for you. If LeBron wants to be a Dallas Maverick, then he will be a Dallas Maverick. They have the trade assets to get him. It's not my problem if you can't grasp this.
of course any team can do an S&T but very few if any have a contract like Damp that the mavs can through the Cavs way. If Lebron requests a S&T and Cle agrees, then the Mavs would be the most appleaing candidate to do so.
Ill give you NJ as a possiblity since they've moved out of the IZOD center and headed to a nice arena in Newark, until Brooklyn is ready
Lebron will not go to LAC and play for a owner in Sterling and an organization that has had 0 direction in its existence
What makes Dallas more special than all the other teams that don't have the cap room to sign him?
Option A - New York, New Jersey, Miami, Chicago: They get nothing back for him, they have $10 million more in commitments in 2011, they get their asses kicked by him four times a year, if they ever make it back to the playoffs, LeBron's team is a permanent roadblock.
Option B - Dallas: $10 million more to spend on free agents in the summer of 2011, their pick will likely be in the lottery, they'll pick up another first-rounder from the Mavs, they'll get a promising young player in Roddy Beaubois, they will see LeBron only twice a year instead of four times.
What do you do if you're the Cavs and LeBron won't agree to an extension? Most superstars accept and shoulder the responsibility of lifting the team that drafted him, but the precedent of abandoning your original team has been set with Kareem and Shaq. I think LeBron resigns with Cleveland, but what do you do if he won't? Do you do Option A or Option B?
None of that answers my question. Why is Dallas the only team on your list that doesn't have the cap room to sign him. If a sign and trade is such a distinct possibility, why aren't all 30 teams possible destinations?
The Suns have an expiring contract just as big in J-Rich
HOLY !
Lebron to Phoenix!
Exactly. Mav fan failure. Spurs have Blair+Hill to give up for Bron! Plus the same level first round pick.
The Damp chip is quality, because his contract is largely unguaranteed, but that is not the only thing you can look at.
Just fantastic.
