Well....About 4 years ago, she had minor back surgery and got addicted to pain pills. As the story goes, she started faking scrips and ordering bulk pills from a Canadian supplier. In order to pay for the excess amount of pharmaceuticals she was buying, she started selling 'massage' services on Craigslist. Well, one of her clients ended up really making an impression on her and word is that she quickly fell in love. This client subsequently 'sold' her during his underground poker games for lines of credit and drugs. She was forced to do unspeakable acts and it began to take a toll on her mental state. she turned to cutting as an outlet to release her pain from the constant abuse aimed at her from the one she loved and his horrible friends. She also began to abuse small animals in order to just feel 'human'. Over time, she found the strength to leave her abusive relationship, by escaping with the help of a battered women's group. She weened herself off of the drugs and is now only drinking. Her prospects are once again bright as she looks forward to a life in the norm.

That bag station she worked for, WOAI, wouldn't even let her do her last show so she cold say good bye. This is the same station that let Kim Fischer get away. I think WOAI hired some old guy to repalce Jennifer doing the weather. No wonder that station is always last in ratings.

I am not sure if she left because of a breakdown in contract negotiations, or if the station elected not to resign her.
