I would like to nominate myself for most capable Spurs fan to run the team.

If I got a front office job with the team, we'd win les EVERY year. Check this out (just a sample of the team I'd have assembled by now):

C- Gasol (I would have beat LA to the call)
PF- Duncan
SF- Artest (would have grabbed him when he was available)
SG- Kobe (if Lakers had not gotten Gasol, he'd have left that summer... enter us)
PG- Parker
