Kobe travels like a mad man...what is the difference. BTW, everyone palms the ball these days...it is a leaguewide epidemic.
that. I call absolute bull if Nash gets called for a single traveling call.
I'm not saying Nash never carries the ball, but if they haven't been calling him on it yet, then they can't start calling it on him now just because King Phil said so.
So sick of this tool acting like he can pre-order calls from the refs likes it's a goddamn appetizer menu.

I hope the lakers team plane goes down in flames
that's just low...usually when you wish such things on a player / team the opposite happens to your team...it's proven with injuries..Karma don't like ugly...Check yo self kid...I know it can be a but life shouldn't be that bad for you..
This doesn't mean anything IMO..
He said the same about Durant's FTs, and nothing changed, he still got calls..
I doubt Nash will be thinking about this, and I doubt the refs will change how they call anything..the league is tired of Phil's comments, based on Stern's earlier comments about how he's hating the complaining..
Actually, it seemed to work with Durant.
This isn't about the refs. The main purpose of this is to distract player from the task at hand. If they worry about what Phil is saying they will be less focused on what's important. It seemed to work with Durant to some extent. He responded in the press and was bothered by Phil's comments. Then he had a sub par series.
Lets say Nash does legitimately get called for a carry. If that happens he will be worried about it the rest of the series because of what Phil said and it may affect his play. And even if Nash never gets called for it he will probably be thinking about not carrying the ball. That's a distraction that causes you to lose focus and that's what Phil wants.
And if Nash responds to this he is playing right into Phil's hands.
"The best coach in the league, Gregg Popovich, didn't have a problem with it last week." - Nash
LOL. Nash fell for it!
This is what Phil wanted. Nash to get upset and get into a war of words.
Nash, you should be smarter than this! By responding you just got owned by the Zenmaster!
Nothing to see here, Phil just trolling the NBA like he always does. It's funny when some of you take it so personally.
If I were Alvin Gentry I would say this.
We need to make sure the Lakers win this series so their pussies won't hurt over the summer.
And now that I think about it further Nash just owned himself with his comment. Think about it. Nash just dissed his own coach by calling Pop the best coach in the league! Bwhahahahaha!
Phil already has him rattled.

WTF? Nash is supposed to bite his tongue to "appear" cool?Because he made a comment in jest he's getting into a "war of words" with Phil? Overreact much?
Yup. He took the bait and in doing so he insulted his own coach!
You think Gentry, Nash, and the rest of the free world dsn't know that Pop is better than Gentry?
How long is it gonna take for you to wipe all that off your keyboard?
Talk about overreacting
Phil Jackson firing .22 caliber pot shots from 400 miles away is hardly a distraction for a player like Nash......it's rather amusing actually.![]()
Lakerfans are so ing stupid.
You're right, Nash should just put Phil Jackson on his ignore list.
Phil's a master of manipulating players.
He got Jordan and Kobe to play the team game. Stopped Rodman from being too crazy to produce. Got Shaq and Kobe to play nice long enough to 3-peat.
He messed up Durant and now he's going after Nash.
He even challenged Ron Artest and turned him into a choir boy.
Phil's greatest coaching asset hasn't been his X's and O's; its always been the way he's used players and gotten into their minds.
"Bynum said after today's practice that his knee is getting worse and has increased swelling."
over that, stick
Of course people think Pop is a better coach than Gentry because Pop has accomplished more. But, if you are on a team you don't say to the press that a certain coach is better than your own coach. That's disrespectful. Nash was trying to be smart and ended up putting his foot in his mouth because he wasn't thinking about what he was saying.
Guaranteed that a few minutes after he made the comment that Nash realized it and said to himself.."Oh ..."
Wow. IF Lopez's injury actually is completely better and Bynum's injury gets worse the Suns might have a small chance at winning this series. If that happens all the Bynum haters would realize how important he is to his team.
I hate Jackson but he is a great coach. Great mind games.
Funny that he says Nash carries the ball too much, I mean, I guess Phil doesn't notice that Kobe elbows his defenders too much
