Almost how we gave up 21 points to Drazwhatever in game 3? I knew we were done after that debacle.

Congrats you swept a 7th seed? Should be worried about sewing up your ass after that raping against the Lakers. You're just glad to be here.

Series over. The Suns however can lay claim to sweeping the Spurs, so I guess they're en led to make a banner.

DoK or X will tell you that i ragged on this team ALL SEASON. I did. I picked them to finish 8th or gone fishin. I thought Lopez was garbage,Nash was a cancerous back spasm in a GM's uniform,Grant Hill was a 16 yr old hologram,Frye was the most disgusting FA signing in the Pacific West, and Gentry would simply rely on more of the same unrealistically hot shooting numbers to win games.
    I was wrong.
Long story short.....i like the direction of this franchise in terms of correcting D'Antoni's flaws and putting something together compe ive & with a future.

    Actually you were right.

How exactly has D'Antoni's flaws been corrected when the Lakers just took a 128pt dump on the Suns?

D'Antoni only knew one way to win a ballgame....outscore them and get more FG attempts....especially 3pt attempts.

Gentry(IMO) has the character to rationalize that matchup's may need to be addressed and that rebounding require's desire and he'll make the proper adjustments.
It's a 0-1 series but it's not over. Come on!

What a sad-sack implicit acceptance of defeat. Try being a man and cheering for your team until you're actually certain you're out-classed by the Lakers.

I personally am not convinced you're out of the running.

Nash was a cancerous back spasm in a GM's uniform
Ya had that right, thank Christ. Because of Nash's mutinous behavior toward Porter he sold Bell down the river and were spared facing that PITA now.

Sometimes, all it takes is one game to decide a series, or to see how the rest of the series will play out - and i think this is one of those cases.

Not a knock on the Suns btw, just a horrible, horrible matchup for them. As hilarious as this may sound, i think the Spurs would put up a better fight against the Lakers, due to matchups, even though Suns >> Spurs.

Thats just basketball, individual players have much more effect on the game than every other team sport - obviously because there are so few players on the court.

I think the series isn't over yet. If you give me a different set of officials that aren't slobbering on laker all game long and this would have been a tightly contested game.

Scott Foster can't ref every game in the series. I'm sure he'd love to, though. Probably made a small fortune making sure the lakers covered the 6.5 pt spread with no problem
