Because I'm sick of this . The playoffs, already underwhelming this season, have virtually been ruined. For a fan with no rooting interest at this point, what's their to look forward to? It's just flat out stupid watching a team who's third big is better than a lot of teams first big. Like I said, if they had legitimately acquired all three, fine, but they didn't.

I want an honest Lakers fan, who can put aside their arrogance for a brief moment, to answer this question: Is this even fun at this point? No one they've played is big enough to legitimately challenge this team and the few teams that are they've either successfully avoided or will not play until the finals (if the Celtics advance). I don't see how this could be enjoyable anymore. We all want our respective team's to win, but the way this team does it, if I were a fan I'd be numb to it by now. What joy is there if they're not even going to be challenged?

I'm flat out disgusted and verging on disinterested. Even though I hate them, I can live with them winning if I feel like the opposition at least has a chance. None of these teams do, unless the Celtics can maintain their energy level, which I doubt.
not super exciting ...I agree but ...I think Magic and celts will be tough and this SERIES IS FARRRR from over ...

    Quit complaining.

Their size advantage is unfair because other teams were too stupid or made to draft, sign, or develop true big men, instead preferring these 6-10+ pussies that play like in guards because they're a "matchup nightmare."

9 other teams could've drafted Bynum, but they didn't. 40 some other teams could've taken a flier on Marc Gasol, but they didn't. The Spurs could've kept Scola, which would've kept them in hard contention, but they didn't.

After 60 years of NBA basketball, the song still remains the same. Size, rebounding, interior defense, and low post play win les. I'm not going to hate on the Lakers for realizing that fact and doing whatever it takes to make it happen.

I just wish the Spurs FO would grow a set of balls in place of the pussy that used to be a set balls and do the same. Spurs fans been calling for a true big to complement Duncan for some time and they FO goes out and gets scrubs like Matt Bonner while letting Scola drift away for nothing. McDyess is okay, but he doesn't play like a true big.

That said, my congrats to the Lakers. Not gonna hate on a team that builds their team the right way and plays the right way.

McDyess did a pretty bang up job actually ... not his fault that his minutes were never steady during the season and POop kept using the red headed doofus during crunch time w/ Duncan.

    Shrugs ok.

In the context of the interview, I think most people would think he's talking about an MVP.

    But ok.

No, their size advantage is unfair because that Bryant whined a few years back, the Lakers had fallen from contention, he was in his prime and the league desperately wanted them back at the forefront of the league while he still was, so an inexplicable trade went through that changed the entire complexion of the league. Don't give me this about the Grizzlies cutting salary. Less than a year and a half later they acquired Randolph, who makes about what Gasol does (or did, at least).

I'm not talking about Bynum. Bynum and Odom would make things fair, you add in Gasol and it's just flat out stupid. I like Scola, but he wouldn't help against the Lakers much. He's 6-8 - 6-9 at most, un athletic and can't protect the rim or defend well in general.

Whatever it takes? You act like they outsmarted teams. They were ing handed Gasol and that changed everything. Why would any casual fan want to watch the West playoffs? To see these arrogant s completely outsize every team? That's real entertaining for non Lakers fans...only the league doesn't give a about non Lakers fans. It's all about them, the Celtics, James and Howard.

Plays the right way? One arrogant prick pounding the ball into the floor boards and routinely breaking off the offense cons utes playing the right way? Give your head a shake.

Did you really and honestly give a about other teams and feel sorry for them when they couldn't match up with two superstar 7-foot centers both of which had the size of centers and the agility of power forwards when the Spurs had both Duncan and Robinson the late 90s and early 2000s?
That's why Popavich is a dumbass for going for 6'6'' or less centers. See the Lakers? They have this card board cutout called Bynum not doing anything but standing there thus ting on every team. Get the tallest bum in America and stick a Spurs jersey on his ass.

Once you have Kobe, Gasol, and Odom, the rest don't really matter, It's like when the Spurs big 3 were in their prime.

Grant Hill was playing pretty good defense on Kobe at the start of the game but the refs put an end to that real quick. I think they got tired of Kobe crying after every play and just said it we'll call every little thing on Hill to shut Kobe's ass up

Oh, please. I don't care if the Suns win 1, 2, or 3 games, the reality is they have no chance of winning 4. So, yeah, this series is over. It's like the Rockets series last year. Even though they pushed the Lakers to 7, did anyone think there was any chance of them winning that 7th game? I knew it would be a blowout before it even began. I'll say it again, if they had legitimately cultivated that size, fine, but they didn't.

The Magic have no chance. The Celtics have a slight chance, but eventually their age will start to show at some point.

I know it's probably coming across this way, but my intention isn't to rain on you guys' parade. But, as a fan of the game with no rooting interest at this point, this is just flat out stupid.

I only usually troll when the slurping noise Luva and Koolaid_Man make sucking each other off gets even too loud for my ears.

Those two, along with Blessings, are responsible for the 99% of the Laker hating around here.

As for the Spurs, I do appreciate the 4 championships, but there was some bonehead moves made after the 05 season that realistically cost the Spurs a few more open years on their window.

Yup, total b.s... if this game had been called the right way Hill would have had numerous stops on Kobe (and steals) it could have been close
