Big 3 by Barnes.
Great series so far. I love the defensive intensity from both sides...complete opposite from the Western Conference Finals. I still expect Boston to take this series in 5 or 6 games though.
He played better during last year's playoff run, but had an inconsistent season and definitely looks lost and timid out there in this series. KG just punked him on defense.
They could use another interior player who actually plays the interior. Shard is basically a 6'10" guard. He lit up the Cavaliers in the ECF last year but he's in major trouble against any PF who can actually play.
Games like this are why I love the NBA playoffs. Two teams playing physical basketball and playing their hearts out on D.
C'mon Joe, he's AT LEAST a SF....kind of.
I still can't believe 'Shard got that contract..I've disliked him on the team all year..
I feel a lot better with Gortat out there, at least he's productive on 1 end all the time..
+1 Two things I love about this game. It's physical as and there's no -made verbal flopping from either team trying to get the cheap whistle. This is as old school as it's gonna get.
Still feels like another game Boston can steal; they're playing good defense at the rim givne the way the officials are calling it. Can't stop Orlando from driving though and maybe pulling up for midrange runners to adjust (like JJ was doing early) rather than trying to get all the way to the basket for a layup.
Yeah... but the Suns have talked more than played in our series with them.
Got to give credit to Garnett, he is the difference maker on the defensive end. He played great against Jamison and is doing the same with Lewis so far.
I still think Rashard has more left in his game, but this SVG system he's under doesn't mode well for him compared to his time in Seattle.
Eh, that series is like watching someone play his little brother.
Harlem called it, the guys who killed us behind the line (Frye) finally started to shoot blanks on a larger stage. Phoenix is going to need that to even compete.
Damn, they are really letting Boston play physical on defense. Orlando's got to start mastering the Paul Pierce art of flopping tonight.
Pierce is worse than Manu.
I feel bad for the team that highers Mark Jackson as a coach. He will be terrible and his players will hate him.
NewJerSPur, right on cue you see a great flop by Pierce. I don't think there are any good actors like that on Orlando.
Wooooah, did Paul Pierce just get shot?!..
Stupid play by Perkins..he had an open layup..
Pierce is ridiculous..
Boston is really getting the whistle tonight when Pierce is involved..
Terrible.
