Agreed. Orlando has a much better chance at taking out Boston than they would at taking down the defending champ, superior Lakers.
lakaluva, you know that you're going to be crucified here if the Lakers lose to the Celtics in the Finals, right?

Ahah, well played. My bad for the poor phrasing.
Anyway, I stand for what I said. Orlando down 2 is more dangerous to Boston than the Lakers would be if they were to face them in the Finals.
He's got reason to, so I'm all cool with it
ron ron finna run train on this foo.
I never stated that Larry Bird wasn't a trash talker. I simply stated he wouldn't do it in a pussy way by using a stupid fad(twitter). He would have said it face to face rathern that doing it the pussy way like Pierce did. I have very little respect for Pierce. He is a y arrogant who fakes injuries then magically gets healed.
just on his twitter:

The Celtics are scary right now and all of a sudden, the talk of them being old is thrown out of the window. I'd love to see another Lakers-Celtics Finals again
Celtics don't have what it takes to take down LA this year.
The mismatches they enjoyed in '08 simply don't exist anymore. Instead of Radmanovich on Pierce, we have Artest. Instead of Pau on Perkins we have Bynum. Instead of Posey on Kobe they have the Allen bro's.
Spurfan already jumping on the next "this is going to be the team to beat the Lakers". Just like last year. Round by round they get their little asses hurt more and more. Each time trying to live vicariously through another team because they got their asses swept the out of the playoffs.![]()
You my friend ...are an idiot...if you believe that.
No. Maybe you should stop making such mind-numbing statements. Ha.... what am I saying?
Point in your favor.
Bynum <> Perkins in my eyes, at least in the playoffs. Maybe a slight edge to Bynum offensively, slight edge to Perk defensively.
Have you seen Tony Allen in these playoffs? He's been playing good defense.
What about the Rondo/Fisher matchup? Rondo is much improved over the '07 version.
Ray or Rondo would torch the Lakers, whoever Kobe isn't guarding.
Rondo is the key. He is something that teams have to focus on now.
But you were the one who recently posted that Manu is a better player than Kobe now. The Manu who had his manhood castrated by the Suns in a 4-0 sweep?![]()
Were you the one told everybody that Kobe is better than Lebron?![]()
You just don't realize how much better of a defensive team the Lakers are now vs two years ago. Don't worry you'll find out.
When healthy Kobe is better than Lebron. Lebron is watching the playoffs on TV again just like last year after having the best regular season record two years in a row. You can't choke in the playoffs two years in a row, have no rings, and be considered a better player than Kobe Bryant.

i was expecting a much more compe ive series. it's not over yet, but i was expecting Orlando to take at least one of their home games. i haven't even watched these first few games. i was thinking it was going to go 6-7 and i'd just watch those.
When you have Gasol and Bynum in your frontline, you can't do no wrong. Wade can win a championship if you juxtapose him in this current Lakers lineup
I just personally think Boston is a much more difficult matchup for LA verses Orlando. And that 08 thrashing still has to be fresh in you guys minds.
