Earl Clark is 6'10 with long arms , super fast and is by far the best defender on the suns.
I think they should put him on odom when odom comes off bench, and they can swtich him on screens to kobe and he would be able to keep up with kobe. If i was Gentry, That's what i would do.
Earl Clark doesn't even play any significant minutes during the regular season and you want Phoenix to use him now against the Lakers??? Ummm probably a bad idea.
But I will say this. Anyone not named Amare defending Lamar Odom would probably be an improvement.
Phoenix suns need the odom stopper: Serge Ibaka!
Earl Clark hasn't had enough minutes and isn't ready.
Unfortunately getting rid of Kurt Thomas' contract was important and it was worth it to give the pick that got Ibaka away.
Earl Clark played surprisingly well against the Lakers during the season.
A bit risky to play him now but I'm also glad he's out.
